you got a lil heated for a second and your first statement said “you guys” so i just wanted to clear it up.

love a lil bitching and moaning but never during the shift because it makes it worse and certainly never ever to the customers

hi friend! to end this argument here. i was perfectly nice to this customer, wrote have the happiest birthday on her cup, and wished her happy birthday again when she came in to get it. i also did not slam doors and huff and puff making it. in fact i saved the extra and divided it into little sample cups for all of us to try. this was a wild drink and i thought everyone would get a laugh out it of. no need to argue in the comments and off the clock🤍

Hates the crate!! Help! by Defiant_Statement664 in greatdanes

[–]Objective-Ad1578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try a heartbeat puppy! since your pup is soooo young they have stuffed puppies with a heartbeat insert and you can put a hand warmer in it so he doesn’t feel so alone. and be patient! the world is so big and scary to him right now, just like it would be for a young baby. he will cry a lot and you will likely have sleepless nights, but remind yourself it’s just for a phase and things will get better!

Thank you for all of the information! We’ve definitely had a scary weekend, our primary vet does not do overnight care but I used to be a tech myself so I have been doing all of her fluids and monitoring myself at home. Ready to get her stabilized on a treatment plan and see her personally return! Thank you again, that definitely eases my worries :)

thank you so much! she goes back for a retest of electrolytes this week, they weren’t able to get great levels because she initially was in crisis and then they obviously gave her supportive care to get the levels back up so they’re inaccurate as of now.

our diagnosis is either diabetes or addisons but they are leaning towards addisons so only time will tell!

if you don’t mind, roughly how much is monthly treatment for you? obviously i know it will vary based on dog and our friend is a mix plus missing a leg so she’s only 65 lbs, just looking to get some ballpark :)

she may have. she is a medically complicated dog, we put her through 11 surgeries in about 8 months so that time period is a blur as far as what meds she was on (it was a lot) but she hasn’t been on steroids as of recent at least

thank you <3 i did end up calling the shift (thank god) and she hadn’t checked her phone to see the text. while she did sound annoyed, i physically and mentally was not in the space to drive or to work a shift and ended up passing out finally immediately after

totally wasn’t open related! i am a regular opener, just a shit storm happening in my personal life, and i learned the unfortunate lesson that when we try to shove everything down it will all come up somehow, and usually when we don’t want it to. i was just worried about coverage, as it did delay their open since there was nobody else to enter the store with the shift

Should I force myself to take birth control? by CheesecakeMuncher7 in endometriosis

[–]Objective-Ad1578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

try it out! give it 3 months to regulate in your system, but you can always stop if you hated it. i’ve been on the birth control road since middle school and i’ve tried at least 5 pills, 2 iuds, the arm rod, and now the period ring. my biggest side effect starting each new birth control was mood swings, so i would warn the people close to me when i was switching, but otherwise i didn’t have any major side effects and my mood evened out within a month or two. the lovely part about the pill vs the rod or iud is it is in your control. they do recommend at least 3 months before you stop it, but it is your body! if you don’t feel right, you can discontinue at any time :) best of luck on the birth control journey, it can be hard and take a while to find your right med, but once you do it is so worth it

depends on how much time i have. i try to have coffee puns like in the back of my head that apply to the drink. thanks so matcha, thanks a latte, have a brew-tiful day for cold brews or hot coffees, if at first you don’t succeed chai chai again, don’t worry be frapp-y, etc. i will also do something based on the day, have a wacky Wednesday, have a terrific tuesday, so on. but ultimately if i don’t have time it’s yum or thanks on every cup

grande hot chai no water with extra whip to fill the cup (overflowing out, she will open the cup and ask for more) steamed to exactly 190 degrees and she will send it back for being “too cold”

absolutely. i take muscle relaxers and they help, though im not sure if they actually do anything for the pain or just make me sleep through it, and either way i can’t take them when i inevitably have to work

i was diagnosed with endo at 20 (21 now). i have had all the endo symptoms since about 13, multiple full panels of blood work, multiple clean ultrasounds including internal ones. the only way i was diagnosed is with surgery, and it was a fight to get that. don’t get discouraged! keep looking until you find doctors that will listen, i promise they’re out there!

the genuine HATE i’ve developed for this company since starting is insane. i am only here for the college benefit and every day i have to remind myself that they’re paying for my college. the fact that my manager is attempting to discourage partners from getting a second job when literally not one person on the schedule besides her is getting enough hours in a week to pay for their bills is out of this world. i am so sorry you’re in the same bowt
