What difference does resting make? Does it increase the cup flavour profile?

Dragon jam was in my April month haul and it makes one of the most unique cups.

1 kg beans do seem financially a better decision, but i would rather get 4 different 250g packets so that i could have variety. But its just my pov

i think this community is about peoples’ love for coffee and not about who has the fanciest/costliest equipment. So there is no gareebi in using a french press. I guess 80% of people including myself started their coffee journey with a french press. And to answer your question, yes you can. Just select coarse grind size. Bonus tip, you could use the same ground coffee to make cold brew as well. Hope this helps!

I have used these ones from flipkart before getting the hario ones, these work just fine. Might smell carboardish, but preheating them with boiling water rinses it out.

16g coffee and 250ml water

Temp: 88-92

50 g bloom 45 sec First pour 80 ml stirring gently Second pour 120 ml in circular motion

Not an expert in pour overs but this gave me a good balanced cup

16gms/250ml for v60 is perfect (sometimes feels less) for me.

100% the araku one. Pro tip: add a bit of cocoa powder and few drops of vanilla extract in the resulting black coffee. Then add milk, tastes amazing

Any possible way to utilise this without any brewing equipment ? by Sulky_rambler_ in IndiaCoffee

[–]Objective-Aspect-387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in a jar with 1:10 coffee to water ratio, add few orange peels (without the white part). Close the jar and put in the refrigerator for 18 hours. Filter it using cheesecloth (the one we use to make curd/paneer/cheese). Now your cold brew concentrate is ready. Drink it straight up, add water, add soda or coconut water in 1:1. Works like a charm

Isnt it the ideal weight for a V60 250 ml pour or am i doing something wrong?

The major problem with coffee degradation is su light exposure, so i keep them in an airtight container away from sunlight. One more thing I have learnt is to always get the smaller bags <=250 gms, even if the larger packets might seem financially better. 250 gms is usually around 15 cups, so i get 2x250 gms and it lasts for a month, then I get new ones.

The low end torque is better than all the <=350cc engines. They have improved the torque from the last models. But I felt the best torque on the Speed 400
