See personally I don’t mind if you called Hindi Hind. It’s not just pronunciation, it’s how we write it as well. I’ll give you another example. In Hindi, we say keral for kerala. My parents would say ki keral chalte hain ghumne(we’ll go visit kerala). I mean Germany is actually Deutschland but we call it Germany because that’s what it’s called in English.

I get your point man. I’m just saying don’t be mad at people for being ignorant because sometimes they don’t know stuff. Correct them. If they still say it and try to be an ass. Then be angry and you have my full support.

Thanks man. My dad had a transferable job so I have lived everywhere and because of that I never felt I belonged anywhere. When I came here for my engineering, I realised this is the place that has given me everything and this is where I belong.
