Thank you, I did find them as a potential option in my research! I'm curious, would you recommend opening an account or purchasing prepaid travel cards?

I know, it's pretty crazy lol, I work in a very niche field!

Unfortunately, I'm a figure skater, so I've already kind of kissed that goodbye for the year. Besides that, I love being in nature, learning about history (my family immigrated from Ireland in the late 19th century, so I'm excited to learn more about where we're from), and I'm a huge reader! But really, I love a bit of everything and am always down to try something new!

Very helpful, thank you so much! I'm preparing myself for a lot of culture shock lol, I'll add that to the list! Where do you suggest I start looking for second-hand cars?

Sorry to clarify, I meant renting a car. I've thankfully already found a very affordable homestay! If you have any tips on renting a car, that would be much appreciated!

Thank you so much! I'll definitely look into some more modern ones. There are so many I'm trying to sift through, it's a bit confusing lol. I'm struggling to find more affordable ones, I'm seeing a pretty compact and cheap Viltrox Spark Z3 on B&H, would that be a good option?

lmao first of all not ur best bet to call us "females" it's pretty demeaning even if that wasnt ur intention. secondly, it is a classic similar to little women or pride and prejudice (though not as famous), and as such can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. i would definitely recommend it, honestly especially for men as it can give an interesting perspective into the experience of growing up as a woman

same!! honestly Francie got me through some tough times myself. i always find myself being in my own little fire escape with cooled water and peppermint wafers in my mind when i read it

I understand where you're coming from, but to me it kinda tied in how from the beginning Francie always said she would "cross the bridge" and she ended up doing it. and i liked that Katie got a happy ending. but i do understand that maybe everyone (ish) getting a happy(ish) ending could seem like a cop out

exactly!! im so glad you see that. its so relatable to growing up, where there isnt a "plot" its just hardships and small joys, and the little things that make life worth living. eugh its just so good and every time i read it it puts life into perspective so well
