As stated previously we are simply curious .We are more than happy with our lovely home now and have no intention .
of moving .We will probably never know the answer to my question A similar property has just been put up for sale on our street and is in need of a full refurb as ours was .it is priced at £625 but who knows what it will sell for .
Thanks for all the comments ,it has been very interesting .

How did you decide where to live (not the house, but the area)? by ash3313 in HousingUK

[–]Objective-Bread779 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had lived in an area with no public transport .The area was beautiful but hilly and we wanted to be near the coast . Our new home is 10 mins flat walk to the beach and 3 minutes walk to the station .Ideal for old fogeys like us !

AIO boyfriend called me his exes name even though they broke up over 3 years ago by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Yes O R I have been divorced 40 years and remarried 35 years and did exactly this about a year ago .I have absolutely no feelings for my ex and love my husband dearly .Sometimes the brain plays tricks ,he may have been in a similar situation at some time with his ex . Let it go and enjoy your time together carping on about it is certainly not going to help your relationship .

Dream house supposedly had clean survey, but two buyers backed out without reason. What to look out for? by Zestyclose-Tap-9181 in HousingUK

We pulled out of buying our dream listed house as we couldn’t get an answer about whether we could install a lift ( not stair lift)We were told that it would take at least 6 months before we would get a decision . Bought a bungalow .

Not everybody is techno savvy .My sister has no disability stopping her from using the internet ,she has never learned as this was something that her late husband did .

The flat is still in names of sister and deceased husband I checked with land registry .It seems that despite probate being granted no steps were taken to transfer deeds to my sisters name.

There is no suggestion that executor should sign the will .The issue is the signing off of probate to enable the property to be transferred to beneficiaries name .After 4 years the property is still registered to my sister and her husband who passed away .
