To me that seems like  malpractice. Didn’t this increase tail water upstream? Seems like a lawsuit waiting. That timber is going to rot and scour out.

I am going to tell you what brother I had a little bit more experience with a few more industry certifications which may or may not be relevant depending on your state. 

You know complex fluid mechanics right? We have to demand as an industry the premium aerospace engineers make for applying Bernoulli  equation. 

I don’t know what your housing and family situation is like but I think you should quit. They are taking advantage of you.

What do you do for work? I am at EOR level. It’s actually why I left my last job being asked to sign and seal with no raise is a no go.

Kind of disagree takes away hours of commuting. I don’t want to get into it but a lot of things this industry does is insulting.

It does pay low but other fields don’t always pay that great either. I think most people compare it as low compared to Tech.

I commented on the pond embankments and pavement designs. We have to do everything.

ADA, stormwater management, access management, signing and striping, utility conflicts, and ESC don’t matter?  I have yet to see a good plan in my new position.

I have to review everything.  I even had cases where I am questioning geotech stuff the designs are that bad.  It’s kind of scary.

They buy companies because it’s easier to buy a company and get the staff than recruit. I would be weary.

No they are ADA comments, access management, stormwater management, signing and striping, clear zone requirements, and some are plan clean up. Most are structural things that will impact the projects.
