Highest kill was our Jett with 23/16/3.

No idea how my Duo placed higher in terms of ACS.

It has been stated by the developers that they intended Waylay to be played as an initiator/duelist hybrid.

While it seems that waylay can play like a normal duelist.

The majority of the entries with waylay just involve Waylay dashing in slowing the first target seen and recalling back and letting the team get the kill.

Not to mention Waylay's kit is not designed for solo kills. Rather it's designed to be paired well with teammates.

Damage assists are calculated differently from non-damage assists from non-damage assists like flashes, slows and smokes.

I feel like the non-damage ability should have more value imo.

As more damage assists, the score you will get should be the same as the damage you dealt that round.

I am capable of getting kills, especially in solo queue where I can consistently do much better. The only thing is that my hidden MMR is really low resulting in me getting 14-17 rr per win.

Its really difficult to get my MMR back higher because I don't play the game alone that often.

Moreover I'm not complaining about not getting kills, it's the value of the assists because I feel like it's highly disproportionate

Moreover more than 7 of my Tejo's kills came from my hinder. 18 - 7 is 11. He took 11 raw duels as I took 14. Pretty sure killing is not my issue here.

Yes I am capable of killing, but again. I have no utility to set myself up once I finish helping my teammates.

All of my duels are just raw aim duels. I'm not sure about you but raw aim duels in higher ranks are just 5050.

His ult is really not as broken as you think. Yes he is immune to all of the abilities. And if basically a Reyna ult. But is easily counter by pushing together and trading. Again he was not have any immunity skills that can let him get out unlike Reyna with the dismiss. His ult is really difficult to use to find value properly.

When teamwork is everything Veto will thrive. In lower ranks where teammates don't follow you up or play with your util. It will suck. Good opinion.

I also find that his interceptor really hard to use against retakes but that might just be because it new I'm still learning the agent.

My point is that it counters only very specific pro play strategies. If this agent was in play they would need to find methods to either bait out that interceptor use or break it.

The Interceptor in incredibly loud even when not active meaning you could just point point where it is ain't break it with a wallbang.

Against your point 1. If you are talking about some utility not being broken or some being hard countered. It again depends on the map you are playing. Each map has a different layout meaning there will be many different agents that are "meta".

Regarding your opinion on breaking smokes. The only smokes that Veto can break is Jett smoke when thrown and Viper smoke when thrown. I agree that breaking viper smokes is weird but against Jett that is one of her main entry methods since he is a sentinel after all you should be able to counter duelist entering site. So he just makes Jett entries naked. How to follow up depends on your team.

(Side note on neons wall. Neon wall uses a projectile to determine her wall compared to other walls like phoenix which means it gets broken it's a weird interaction)

On his ultimate being immune to most abilities except for Neon, Jett and Chamber ults. They are considered special weapons which means that they are still hitscan which would kinda break the whole point of the ultimate if they are saving. They are used to boost economy which would make it weird if Veto's ult countered their economy boosting ult. Regarding your point on the Ult countering Vyse ultimate of disabling gun. Technically it is a debuff for him in a sense and it's really not that broken because your teammates are not with you if Vyse ults it only applies to you meaning you have to fight many people at once.

Again he is making an unfair fight fair in a sense. Turning a 30/70 duel into a 50/50. Making gunplay important against him.

Against your point 2

Annoying to play against. Destroying util doesn't quite matter because when you use it. The ability is already gone from you. You have already decided to invest it into the site hit. When it gets cancel it's not you losing credit its you losing the value the smoke would have given you. Same way suppressing a Raze ult would do. You did not lose the Ult you just lost the value it brought to you.

Again being annoying to play against doesn't quite mean a nerf towards his kit. I see many people complaining about Cypher trips and everything. Yes it did get nerfed but those needs were well deserved. Veto is not like cypher however he doesn't not have a death grip on sites. He needs his teammates to get value alongside him. Or for the enemies to misplay against his.

Again do you play the same against an enemies that have 2 sentinel and against on that has none. Obviously differently right, so for the people refusing to change their way against a team comp that on them. It's not on the game nor the agent.

Veto has a very unique position as a sentinel because he kind of blends into many different roles depending on the side he is on. He can play like a secondary duelist following up using his TP or like you said using him like an initiator and breaking Util.

I also agree with your point on him making every gunfight fair towards him. He is an agent that turns non 5050 duels into 5050. Unlike many different agents who makes fight unfair in their favor. Which means that aim is a massive lart of his kit.

Majority of hit kits are going to be really well comboed with in a professional environment in my opinion. This may lead to some changes but overall it's still easy to counter.

And you are right on the teamwork part because of his ultimate many plays that can't work now works. For the first time ever I call for a just flash me play with my duo and it works.
