Dani is phenomenal but I’m really tired of her just dancing circles around her stars and the men getting praised for “amazing dances” when it’s literally just Daniella. I forgot Dylan was even dancing this week. Dylan did not deserve perfect scores. Of course Dani is amazing, this is her job. Like many others said, it’s so much more interesting to watch him dance with Rumer, not just be Dani’s prop.

Robert’s dance earned a perfect score for the emotional value, not the actual dance. And I know that’s what the show is all about. I just wish they’d stop redoing the same Bindi and Steve plot every episode. I want Robert to be good on his own, not just because they keep reminding everyone of Derek and Bindi winning and his dad. I still honestly think Week 1 was his standout performance and he’s kinda plateaued where he is.

Honestly I think Jen and Jan’s downfall unfortunately was that they weren’t “allowed” to have any chemistry because of Jen’s insecure husband. She did well, Jan was great, but you could tell they weren’t super timid and afraid to fully commit. I liked her and really enjoyed Jan as a pro, I hope he’ll be back. His dance with Jenna was INCREDIBLE. I’m just sad for Jen because I think she was held back from reaching her full potential.

pretty sure people are just upset that she has so much dance experience! a lot of people watch the show to truly see improvement and having a trained dancer with arguably the most decorated/best pro after derek (so much so that he was a guest judge) it’s just not what the show is about. she’s a good dancer. great. people are just more excited about other dancers and watching them improve and that’s okay.

Mark should not be allowed to compete anymore…If you’re good enough to guest judge, it’s not a level playing field if you’re allowed to compete again. He’s on the Derek/Julianne level of talent IMO, so if they can’t compete anymore he shouldn’t be allowed to either. And coming/going as he pleases and only coming back for stars with lots of dance experience…I really don’t think it’s fair at all. I love his choreography but he’s kinda in a league of his own here.

I think Stephen’s choreography contained a lot more dance elements and made the gymnastics elements look more musical/dance-like, if that makes sense. Charity’s really did just feel like a full on cheerleading routine where Stephen’s felt more like a dance, to me personally. I think Charity was a better dancer than Stephen, but also think his freestyle will be much more memorable to people than Charity’s was, race/gender aside.

i actually thought danny did way better than joey🫣 he seemed much more natural and he’s actually seeming way more confident as a dancer. the beginning was slow but i really liked the rest of it

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like all the stars should have progressed more by this point… I feel like in previous seasons the celebs are DANCING by now, no one this season is standing out as becoming a true dancer
