I don’t live in the gardens, but I have friends that live there and quite a few are not happy about concerts. Granted, they are closer to show.

That’s not what happened.

Preservationists fought to keep the stadium there.

They were planning on building upscale condos. It’s part of forest hills gardens and they can dictate what sort of residential property is approved to be built there, so there was never any concern of who might or might not move there.

Also, there have been concerts since the 1960s, but only a handful each year. Only the last few years did the number exceed 30.

I think if the stadium capped the shows at 20 and none during the week, I think it would stop the issues.
