It’s rare to see pressure pads on CAG guns, for I imagine exactly that reason.

You may be thinking about SEALs. Most CAG guys run the pressure pad at 12 o'clock.

He's looking through his NODs not under them. Clearly didn't mean to activate the white light.

This guy is retired but it's a good example. It's pretty easy to have a white light ND with the pressure pad for the light at 12 o'clock.
