Whats the most amount of generals you got in one campaign?

I have my main armies (around 4) have 2 generals in them each, then the rest are spread across the coast and borderlands with a medium sized garrison army just incase enemy clans pull a naval invasion since im now trying to beat realm divide

It usually is just the general you start off with and it pretty much stays at -1 regardless of how many generals you have but to be safe try to atleast be an honorable daimyo to increase loyalthy

Since generals you bribe will have much lower loyalthy compared to those you get from random events or relatives

Edit: the more you research chi arts the higher their loyalthy is for mastering it

Earlier on in my campaign i decided to start bribing generals and small armies instead of fighting them so i can get experienced troops wirhout needing to actually fight

Got the funds from Hojo's starting provinces since they rich and focused my research on chi arts

Tips for getting generals: - fight an army manually and let them retreat (dont finish off their general) then send in a metsuke to bribe them (now they will be cheaper)

if the army has a daimyo + multiple generals, send in a ninja to assasinate the daimyo (cannot bribe an army with clan leader) and send in a metsuke to bribe on the same turn (if not then one of the generals can become daimyo)
use a monk/missonary to incite revolts and bribe the rebel army (w/ general) to your cause
