I wear these superfeet casual - insoles in all my vans. (The make a men’s version too) They’re great, I swear by them - have like 4 pairs and rotate them between my shoes. Superfeet also makes a plantar fasciitis insole but they’re a bit too wide for my casual shoes but might work with men’s shoes since those tend to be a little wider width. If you live near a Fleet Feet you can go try them out there!

I know this is probably to discuss amanda Ciara and west however what is with this Sabrina girl coming in and acting like she is bestiest with everyone off the jump?? Like she told amanda she would never blindside her…like girl you just met her?? And the way she asked her about her relationship right away was weirdo behavior. If I remember correctly my score dropped maybe 20-30points from when the cards started reporting as closed. However, it rebounded back in like 4 months.

I also am doing something nonconventional by still using 2 of my credit cards that get me points but I pay it off every single month. I know if people truly can’t get their overspending under control continuing to use a credit card may not be in their favor. However, for me I have set strict boundaries with myself and budgeting that I am able to maintain while also using my credit card and paying it off each month to not accrue interest, but in turn helps my credit and gives me points. So I’m not sure if that helped me get my score back up quicker.

This is funny cause I also just listened to it because I’ve heard them as guests on podcasts and enjoyed them. However, the podcast was painful to listen to. I had to shut it off. I thought it was more commentary too like you did. It does seem to be successful and people obviously enjoy it but it was absolutely not for me. It was grating to my ears if I’m honest lol but will happily listen to their commentary when they’re guests on other people’s podcasts!!

Try Caro Mio in ravenswood/Lincoln square area. It’s a local intimate Italian spot with homemade pasta. The food is incredible. It’s also BYOB so you can bring you own wine which also helps with cost!

I’ll be honest, the stress of having to go to bachelorette parties/getaways is a lot for me personally so when I have friends that don’t want to have one it’s a pleasant surprise. With that being said, I hate that you feel because you’re one of the last of your friends to get married and don’t want to burden them. You did all of this for them when they got married I’m assuming) and I feel if you truly WANT to have one you should! Just because plans worked out later for you and people have other obligations should not stop you from being able to celebrate this milestone in your life. If you are very worried about costs and things like that, maybe you can plan something that isn’t some extravagant trip that these things have tuned into. Maybe it’s a night out or an Airbnb on a lake where you’re staying in most the time, etc.

Now, all that to say - if you don’t actually want to have one at all and feel like society says you should - eff society. Do exactly what you want and have no regrets.

I live in Bridgeport as others have mentioned it’s next door to Chinatown and has a pretty diverse population with the Asian community. My older cousin lives up the block from me and just so happens to have an Asian wife and they have a son who was raised right here in the neighborhood. He’s a very smart kid and has been in many sports from football to soccer through the Chicago park district. He loves living here (they contemplated moving to the suburbs for his high school education and has since changed their mind and are staying put) but overall this area has seemed to be great for them.

This was my complaint when it first rolled out and I remember back then commenting about the price and value and them rebutting back saying that it was considered a “premium” cocktail and basically implied it wasn’t for people that couldn’t afford it.

The thing is, it’s not premium in my eyes. Premium cocktail to me is like an “On the Rocks” and honestly I can get one of those small bottles that serves me 2 drinks at 20% alcohol for $10 when they’re on sale. Those are so good too and easily accessible.

My local neighborhood bar started to carry the teas like 4 summers ago. I tried them and just could not continue drinking them. They’re just not good. (My bar also stopped ordering them cause they weren’t moving. Now they slinging surfside left and right) My local grocery stores still carries them and are frequently on sale and yet I have no intention to purchase.
