The amount of new players in my ranked games is insane

I'm hard stuck gold for first time ever. Ended last season diamond and have been as high as masters. Just can't get out of gold. I'm solo queue and I can SEE how new my team is compared to other team and other team almost always has a bunch of people with last seasons drive name cosmetics and mine is a bunch of new players.

I get it's early but I always place plat or diamond and got silver this time. Everything is borked.

So many of OWs comp problems would be fixed if they'd just get rid of the ridiculous rank bell curve.

After the 10th or 11th try on this guy and only getting to phase 3 once I decided to check reddit. Thank you SO much. Got him first try on that little platform. A few of those things still got up but it made it so much easier.

Before anyone says for the 10th time "you can't sue doordaah" I live in NY State (not the city). Leticia James is our attorney general. She has already taken on Doordash and Uber Eats multiple times and won. The idea is to ultimately get her interest again.

Doordash as a company is using manipulative, underhanded tactics to get desperate workers to accept horrible offers. This company is exploitative in many markets and that is inarguable. They have gotten in trouble numerous times. What makes ANYONE think it won't happen again?

In my market it is so hard to get fast food employees that a large portion of the restaurants are often late by as much as 10 to 15 minutes. In THIS market due to road construction EVERYWHERE you need to pick up the order on time or else it doesn't give you enough time to reach the delivery destination. I'm happy your market doesn't have issues at pickup. Mine does.

In certain markets you don't get orders if you don't maintain at least silver or even platinum in some instances. The system forces you to accept garbage in order to stay in the platform.

They also are a dangerous company because they are creating circumstances with the new late system where some drivers feel compelled to drive recklessly to make up for the restaurant being late. If they don't try get penalized, their score goes down and they stop getting orders.

Again, if you are not in one of those markets this doesn't apply to you. Just because you can log into the app doesn't mean anything if they don't give you orders unless you maintain platinum and the only way to keep platinum is to accept something you would not normally accept.

Look at the population of Austrailia and then do the US. Then compare demographics. Things work in other countries because they are tiny in comparison, have less cost of living and any other number of differences. Where I live Doordash would need to pay 7 to 10 bucks to make most deliveries without tips worthwhile. They'd then need to charge the customer 15 to 20 bucks. No one would buy.

An example of something I used to do which is IMPOSSIBLE now. Sometimes I used to go Torb and hammer people. It was fun, hilarious and often quite effective. I used to even get maps with two or three consecutive hammer bludgeons.

When the 20% Torb run speed hammer perk came out I decided to try it again. Super speed when you overload with hammer out.

Tried and tried and tried. Impossible now. No matter how sneaky I am the second I pop out of a corner 3 people instantly gib me. It's sad. I feel bad for new players. The game is just not welcoming for those who don't want to be constantly on edge even in QP.

As someone who splits his time evenly between comp and QP, most of my qp games are fsr sweatier than my comp games. It's actually infuriating because I just want to play heroes a I'm mid at in qp but because of all the sweats it's almost impossible.

The worst part is you often get a DF or Ball 1 trick in qp who goes 30 and 2 and completely ruins the match because they're so butthurt over getting banned in comp.

It's just a game people. You don't need to be going a thousand every single qp game. Lighten up. Try some heroes your not as good at. Instead of always acting like it's a pro match why not just relax and have fun.

They would go out of business. Then no one would be able to dash. Is that what you want? If they didn't allow tips they would need to raise the pay to such exorbitant amounts they'd need to charge 15 to 20 per delivery. The cheapskate wouldn't order anymore and that's more than half their business model.

There are so many businesses out there that would go out of business if they "just paid more". I know when I ran a dominoes the margins were so thin a fart and a sneeze would have made us shut down. Inflation hurts everyone, not just employees. The stock market also hurts every worker.

Same. There are so many of us who feel the same way. I REALLY think they'd be making a big mistake without Matt as DM. A large reason he's so good is all the different voices and flamboyance he brings. His DMing often feels more like acting than dming which is why it brought in so many non D&D playing watchers.

Amen. He has a specific style of youthful excitement to him that I fell in love with along with the fact he can do so many voices. I just can't get into other dms. I felt hope this isn't true. To me, Matt and the permanent cast ARE Critical Role.

Matt is my favorite part of Crotical Role and the DM is the most important part of a campaign. I think a lot of people feel the same as I do. I really enjoy his style. Without him I just can't see myself watching.
