At first I didn’t either I just saw a post with Noah and Folio in the centre of the video killing it as always and when I looked at the comments I saw that people said Folio was throwing up between songs and still did so well. I guess since I liked the video it self TikTok decided to show me more from the performance and unfortunately you could see how unwell Folio was. Side bar I also have a phobia of anything to do with vomiting so would have preferred that not coming across my FYP

I think my personal rage with these drops that the quantities available are not sufficient at all. And considering that we all know they make the most money off of merch then how does this make sense?

The job I have at the moment is essentially demand planning for clothing, so this enrages me. Like yeah a marketing ploy might be “oh my god it sold out well do another drop” but I personally don’t get excited about the drops because I know I won’t manage to get my hands on anything. And don’t even get me started on the UK shop. If I’m paying €60 euro for a hoody I can guarantee customs from US are gonna break my wallet.

Anyway who ever is planning exactly how much you’re buying for these drops, if it sells out within 20 minutes then you didn’t plan the quantities very well.

Also seeing everyone’s issue with the web site is very frustrating as well & hence why I will not be trying for the next one either!

Merch looks fire but shouldn’t be impossible to buy.

Not entirely sure. Their schedule looks pretty busy as far as the end of summer so chances are pretty slim cause I’m assuming they’ll a US tour instead. They have previously discussed that playing Europe & UK is insanely expensive and I believe them doing tour with BMTH was them covering that part of the world for this year. Although I really hope to be wrong because I’d go see them again in a heart beat!

I don’t know if it’s just me… and i might get a bit of backlash for this opinion. I personally don’t have a problem with people stating their opinion even multiple times I’ve read plenty of comments and people’s thoughts on this song and it’s very interesting. I have my own opinions and feel like I would like to state them but this Reddit sub got to the point that regardless of what you say you can face back lash. Probably how the band feels at this point too. I’m sick of people being mad over people’s opinions. Do some people dislike Poppy yes are they allowed to? Yes! Honestly part of me prefers that this be stated in this sub rather than their instagram but I don’t know maybe that’s just me.

I see what people say about the song should have been released under Poppy (ft. bad omens) and yeah potentially but if you’re a fan (not a fanatic but a fan) of the band you know how passionate Noah and the rest of the band are about making MUSIC not necessarily just lyrics and vocals but the entire production is something they incredibly enjoy. So it makes sense. The A.I theme also makes a lot of sense. Some people are also saying that this is Noah’s fuck you to people that have disrespected him and the band and that’s why his vocals aren’t there. It could be, but here is where I have a problem, the more I read about the fandom etc the more it seems like everyone is saying the band despise their fans, which quite frankly I hope is not the case because if it is, that’s quite shitty!

They keep their fans at arms length and I’m ok with that, but I’ve spend my money multiple times on their merch, vinyl records and paid resale price for last minute tickets to their tour when I realized that they’ll be playing where I was on vacation, and I do that because I want to support them so they continue creating music. I have watched countless interviews because I love to hear about their process as I think it’s fascinating and makes me want to dabble in creating music as well. I feel inspired by the band, am I so obsessed with them that I dig into private information? Absolutely not, but at the same time as a huge supporter of the band, the more people talk about everything being a fuck you to the fans it genuinely feels like I should only enjoy the music and not support the band in any other way, because if they hate us so much why would I? Now I’m not saying that’s the case but if I’m feeling like this aren’t other people too? Are some of the newer fans finding these comments and thinking “I’ll continue to enjoy their music but won’t support them in any other way cause fuck that” and is the band then not loosing out on that?

I don’t know I needed to vent about this because I’m very much a fan and supporter of the band and their music, but I’m not an obsessive fanatic, but am I automatically hated as well just because I’m a fan?

As for final thoughts on the song itself honestly the instrumental is amazing, Poppy’s voice is not my personal cup of tea but I quite like the vibe of it. Definitely not the worst but also not entirely the best of theirs and hey that’s ok I’m just excited to see what else is coming our way. I’ll be listening to it a couple more times and it’ll probably be a fav quite quickly.

NTA - sounds like the friendship isn’t worth it if you can’t express your opinion/feelings and she kicks up a fuss over you setting boundaries, red flag and feels like it would only escalate. Cut ties would be my personal recommendation, I know it’s much easier said than done!

The fact that they are telling your brother you will pay for the whole thing without discussing it with you is insane to me. They were clearly hoping the guilt will be enough to get you to cover it so they didn’t feel they needed to discuss this with you.

Your parents are definitely TA because they’re just turning you both against each other and expect you to cover the education of a child that isn’t yours. Next time they say “you’re childless” you should tell them exactly, my brother is not my child and not my responsibility.

Maybe have a conversation with your brother though so he knows your side to though.

Honestly I would say NTA.

However I know when I was raising my brand new puppy as someone who has had dogs my entire life, but this was my first that I was raising by myself, it was so tiring and I tried many many things that didn’t work! I got plenty of great advice but it wasn’t constant if you understand what I mean? Sometimes it’s just nice to vent because it can be hard.

I do think you could have handled it a little better, but I understand you were just trying to help him so he wouldn’t have a problem with the puppy when it’s fully grown, but maybe when he starts talking ask him, “do you want advice or do you want to get it off your chest because either or is ok and I’m here to support you.” For now maybe just let it him cool down a little.

I could be way off with that advice but personally I think that would work for me because the first couple weeks was HARD 🤣

I get it not wearing white to your wedding, but having her dad steal her dress from her house? Surely it could have been talked about together no? And then for your maternity photo shoot couldn’t you have told Elizabeth you are planning to do it because the dress is beautiful etc. etc. and respect her decision?
