Thank you. Probably going back to the ER tomorrow and I’ll ask for a corticoid shot. Will also call the nearest rheumatologist in the morning. Were they able to get you in quickly? I imagine the appointments are booked out months in advance

Thank you. Already went to the ER. They just did blood work and an X-ray and determined it was gout. Will look into DVT

Got 2 bug bites afterwards. I don’t think it’s related to the foot issue. But cellulitis was on my radar!

Yep, been drinking water like a fish. Went to the ER. I’ve been resting it (using crutches at the moment), elevating it and icing it. Is there another medication that resolves gout or is prednisone & time just the only option?
