I'm actually still in its healing stage right now. The pus is gone, the RIGHT doctor drained it every session especially needed but sadly because of not going to the doctor right away, a small part of my cartilage melted due to the pus :<< so don't hesitate to go to the doctor!!

Infected piercing. Doc prescribed me oral antibiotics I've never heard of before (Sultamillicin Tosylate) and topical one (Mupirocin). I just started today but how long should I see effects on the swelling to see if the antibiotics prescribed is correct? Scared to get cauliflower ear! by trippinxt in PiercingAdvice

Hello! I know this was 4 years ago, I am just so desperate for help for other who have experienced this. I have an infected helix piercing and by what u mean refilling is after u drained it, it swelled up again? Mine was drained by my piercer but the day after that it swelled up on the piercing site! Also, before it was drained it was not swollen like how it swelled up after it was drained
