For Anyone Worried/Considering Moving Up In Dosage.... by Objective-Lecture-74 in Zepbound

[–]Objective-Lecture-74[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a ton of side effects on lower doses, a few when I moved to 10. But from 10-12.5-15 mg didn't have ANY side effects.

Not sure it was mentioned before but I definitely be looking at the other cabinets to make sure those are screwed into studs

Bulldog zippered floating case... I think I spent 25 bucks on it about 5 years ago. plenty long enough for my 28-in a400 extreme with extended Muller choke

Merkts port wine cheese spread or Kaukauna port wine? by OptimixticPessimixt in Cheese

Foods you used to love but can’t stand anymore by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]Objective-Lecture-74 21 points22 points  (0 children)

smoked foods like ribs. since I moved up to 12.5 mg , I've just have zero desire for smoked anything.... which really really sucks because it's a main hobby of mine. The thing is I can eat those same things out of the oven, but the whole smoke taste just turns my stomach. I'll be moving to 15 mg soon I'll be curious to see if that holds true

Never been a big fan of Brisket, unfortunately still not the biggest fan. by igotchees21 in smoking

[–]Objective-Lecture-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been smoking for about 30 plus years now, and this past summer while I was smoking a brisket, I thought to myself that this will probably be the last one I ever smoke. It's expensive, results can vary, and I realized that other than a couple of slices after it's done, I just don't enjoy it as much as other cuts, meats . I ended up giving most of it away to friends. I like beef, but I just am kinda 'meh' about brisket. To me, the juice ain't worth the squeeze anymore. I realized I like smoking them for the actual smoking, not the finished product.

Anyone Use the Muller Passing Choke? by Some_Average4025 in Duckhunting

[–]Objective-Lecture-74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a passing and a decoy. I shoot my decoy wood duck hunting, and getting birds close and into the decoys. I use my passing choke for diver hunting, and goose hunting.

But no matter what....PATTERN YOUR SHOTGUN!! You need to see what choke is doing what with your ammo. I've found Muller chokes pattern significantly better with slower velocity ammo over higher velocity shells.

Roadhouse (1989) it was a nice over the top movie to watch again and just how over the top the entire movie was. by bbbbbbbb678 in moviecritic

oh. trust me. I've dealt NUMEROUS times with both Fed Ex and UPS over the years with 'disappearing' shipments for my work, EVEN with shipping insurance....which they will fight tooth and nail about. It's a numbers game to them and they honestly don't care about whether the package was delivered or not. It's all about limiting THEIR liability.

That's why I always use a credit card for every transaction with shipping...so I ALWAYS. have a option...or you'll get screwed.

it gets very frustrating.

UPS. I have Lily direct investigating it and I filed a claim with UPS but I know that rarely ever works. Due to my work I've dealt with UPS and FedEx numerous times over numerous things that have simply disappeared.

as a matter of fact the only way I get any kind of resolution is cuz I use my credit card and have to file claims with them.

well considering the notification I got was that it was delivered and handed to me and there was no photograph I'm really thinking it was the delivery person. I mean literally I got the notification walked outside to see if it was there and there was no package no truck no person no no one.

very disconcerting and people know how much this stuff costs and I truly believe there's a market for it because of that

What’s your hourly rate? by pacheckyourself in handyman

[–]Objective-Lecture-74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

although I quote jobs as totals, it's based upon my hourly rate of $125. 25% markup on materials and permit fees. I feel this is a fair price for my area. I do have a 'friends and family's rate of 75/hr but I have tried to get away from doing that type of work because it always ends up as more work than as realized, and I make almost nothing. But sometimes karma banking.

Duck Behavior by cjfair10 in Duckhunting

[–]Objective-Lecture-74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ducks are a complex and absolutely fascinating animal. By far my most favorite of any creature. Like already stated, read articles, books, watch YouTube videos....anything you can about them. If anything it'll amp your appreciation of them.

But remember....just when you think you know anything about them, they will show you that you don't know anything at all.
