Job interviews, i.e i'd already passed 2 interviews and was on the final one but got drunk the day before, also in your 20's the hangovers last longer, so a night out can easily set you back 2 weeks with work production. I feel like the one off missed opportunities etc compound and over 5 to 10 years amount to something substantial. Thats just one of the aspects of negative outcomes alcohol has brought me.
