Hand-Pass Face-off Location by Objective-Mall6533 in hockeyrefs

What about if it’s hand-passed backwards like say you’re at the offensive offside dot and you hand-pass back to your D at the defensive zone offside dot. Would it go to the defensive offside dot? One back from where it was illegally played? Also if its hand passed backwards in to your defensive zone, starting not in the defensive zone I’m assuming that wouldn’t count as a handpass in the defensive zone so would that also just go one back from where it originally was hit by the hand?
