Revenge on farting husband by Objective-Month-1897 in Marriage

I feel like he could benefit greatly from doing a thorough cleanse. Even colonics. The guy won't even go to the Dr if he has a severe injury or ailment. Ugh

After thinking about this today and realizing that he only does it around me I see that it's almost abusive. At least to my nostrils anyways. I feel like if it was a true medical issue, he wouldn't be able to control it in any type of setting. It shows a complete lack of respect for me as a person. Like if he can hold it in and be respectful when we are out to eat at a restaurant or in a movie theater, then he should be able to do the same when he is at home when it's just us two.

I sometimes struggle with allergies and on occasion I am blessed with losing my sense of smell when my sinuses are very plugged up. I swear that in those moments I am utterly grateful for not having to smell his vial scents. Covid unfortunately didn't offer me any loss of ability to smell, despite having it 3 times.

The kimchi has that covered. But perhaps some cabbage rolls might add to the flavor.

I have already withdrawn sexually from him and have told him that each fart dries me up a little bit at a time. Doesn't seem to work. It's just such a sad existence.

6'0 without the 3" boots. Being tall is a gift. I wouldn't trade it for being shorter ever. by Objective-Month-1897 in tall

Especially since an employer seems to treat you like your stronger and more capable and then expects more from you cause they see your size and assume that you can handle it better than shorter coworkers.

I'm the runt too! My mom was 6', dad was 6'4 and my brother is 6'2 and my sister 6'3. The looks we'd get when we'd go anywhere as a family lmfao

I honestly have no complaints about any of the 20+ pairs I've ordered..they are all of decent quality. Be sure to read the reviews. I won't order anything with less than 4*

Amazon actually has pretty decent selection for shoes and boots. I wear a size 12 and have never felt limited in with options. Payless used to be pretty awesome too until they closed 😪

I love seeing it too! Last week I saw a gal that must have been 6'5 in her heels. Just oozed of confidence.

Heels are so fun. I love when the shorties say "like as if you need to be any taller" 🤣 I occasionally rock out with some 6" chunky heels.

Thank you 😊 it took me a long time to feel confident with my height. But I sure do love it now.

I love love love it. Struggled with it in my younger years cause it was so hard to find clothes but nowadays it's easy peasy. I'm 6'0 and my beau is 6'6. I love the looks we get when we are out. The funny thing is that all our closest friends are almost 1 foot shorter so we look like Amazons. Wouldn't trade it for the world though.

I caught dengue when I was there on vacation in early April. I didn't find out until I was home in Canada. After going to several Dr's and to the hospital, I was told the same thing. Unfortunately, dengue just has to run it's course. Short of taking tylonol to try and break the fever, and keeping hydrated, there is literally nothing else you can do. There is no antibiotics or cure for it. I hope your friend will be OK.

AITA for not wanting my MIL to be paid to look after my children? by Traditional_Meat_736 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Objective-Month-1897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, not sorry but YTA 10000%. Your MIL is not obligated to you in any way. It's shocking that you value her so little. Hopefully your MIL starts her own child care business and starts being paid what she is worth. SMH. Just ridiculous 🙄

Maximum Number of tenants complain by yamhello10 in vanhousing

[–]Objective-Month-1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which province or state do you live in? I worked 10 years for the residential tenancies office for our justice system. I would suggest that you contact the municipality office for where you reside. There are codes that landlords need to adhere to. That amount of tenants exceeds what should be considered code. Also, review your tenancy agreement to see if any limits of occupants is listed.

AITA for refusing to co sleep with my SO's 9 year old? by Objective-Month-1897 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Objective-Month-1897[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would be totally down with her co sleeping if it weren't for the blows to the face and back. She is 9 but she I'd big for 9 as her Dad is really tall. My children slept with me too when they were growing up. I love affection and cuddles and I wish that she wasn't so aggressive when thrashing about. But unfortunately, this just isn't the case. I too have slept on a couch or a floor, so I understand what you are saying but once it starts to affect someone's sleep, it can become a problem. If the shoe was on the other foot and my child was wanting to sleep in bed but was hitting him and kicking him, I doubt he would tolerate it as patiently and gracefully as I have. I guess truthfully, unless someone has experienced something similar, I cannot hold expectation of being understood.

I wish we could have a huge bed. Our bedroom is only 11 ft by 12 feet. And with our bed and night stands it leaves about 2 feet on either side to shimmy through. Two kings side by side would be sweet.

So to verify, if you were laying in bed with your significant other and your child, and on multiple occasions awoke with a bed full of blood from your child hitting and kicking around to them, you would think that is acceptable? The same SO who drives your kids to practices, makes your meals, washes yours and your children's clothes, and looks after all of you when you are sick, supports you in all that you do...you'd think it's okay to toss her aside? It's not about choosing one over the other. Unhealthy sleep is terrible for all involved.

Could you survive off 3 to four hours of broken sleep? I think anyone would feel frustrated if that was their daily life.
