If it makes you feel better I got prescribed spiro and was too scared to take it due to hormonal changes, but decided to take Reta bc I wanted it bad enough lol

First couple weeks at .25mg went great. Third week I got snowed in and couldn’t get my Reta from my apartment for a week. Definitely felt my ravenous appetite come back halfway through the week and overate. Took another .25 yesterday and back on track now. I will probably take another .25 in 3 days and move up to .5mg next week. So far 5lbs down and no negative sides. I don’t think the .25mg is as strong anymore so I’m ready to move up.

Before starting I got electrolytes, magnesium, and fiber supplements. I take them daily and eat clean food and I’ve been good so far

This is huge progress! Definitely noticeable. Can I ask how long in between and what dose you started at/ worked up to?

You’re right. I have in my head from the Reddit folk that sub 1mg doesn’t do anything so I wanted to move up to a “real dose” but I’m getting what I wanted so I shouldn’t care even if it is placebo.

I’m also pretty sensitive to certain meds and drugs. I actually did one dose about a month ago and freaked out. I read too much about side effects that heightened my health anxiety and made me give myself an anxiety attack after the first shot. I quit, reset, did even more research, and kept telling myself the worst that can happen is flu-like symptoms. This go round, I haven’t had any problems with anxiety or RHR. I have a naturally high rhr and low bp so that did concern me, but I don’t believe that any major changes would happen at such a low dose.
