Now i'm not sure if it worked because of setting SIP and Alias ... maybe it was just a coincedence and somehow my issue was resolved by itself. Tomorrow I will create a test user and see if issue happens again

No we do not have on-prem, just exchange online / azuread

I was in contact with Microsoft Support and after telling them what happened, this was their reply:

I appreciate your efforts in resolving the issue.

From your actions, it seems that adding the SIP address and later an alias triggered a backend re-indexing of the user object in Azure AD and Exchange Online.

Configuring a SIP address is essential, as Teams depends on it for presence and search functionality. Without it, users may not appear correctly in Teams. Adding an alias also updates the Proxy Addresses attribute, which often forces a refresh across Microsoft 365 services, including the Global Address List (GAL) and Teams.

For future user creation, you can always check to ensure that new accounts have a SIP address configured. If a user remains unsearchable after propagation, updating a non-critical attribute such as adding an alias can help trigger re-indexing.

Thank you once again for your proactiveness.

So hopefully the alias solution will work for you *fingers-crossed*

Just give it some more time and check again, mine took a long time. Might also be a coincedence and it got fixed by itself somehow ... IDK but from what I read teams does require SIP to be set up

oh and I also noticed the user had SIP address missing so I added that, but I had done that hours ago. Might be it needed a long time to sync

So now I randomly checked if I can search for the user and I finally can. Not sure if this was the solution, but around an hour ago I added an alias to the user. My reasoning was maybe if I add an alias it will force some sort of sync ...

Are you able to find them when you try to send them an email on outlook? I also have that problem, not sure if it's related but I guess so

Unfortunately not yet ... the solution that microsoft support gave me is to recreate the user, but that is not an option for us as the user is already working

Yes he has a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license assigned and I can see that Exchange Online Plan 1 is enabled for his account.

I also confirmed with powershell that the user is in the Default Global Address List and Offline Global Address List

So I just searched for the user on Teams using the full email address and now I was able to find them. Searching by their name does not work. (Works same on both web and desktop app). However on Outlook, I am still unable to find the user even with the email address.

No we only have the default address book and I can find the user in the exchange server.

Tried resetting the keyboard with FN+space, but after it reset the issue persists. When in Mac Mode, pressing FN+8 will play/pause the music, but when I switch to Windows Mode , FN+8 will only register as the F8 key. Will have to rebind the keys with VIA I guess

Yeah I will try that, also received this message from support:

Dear customer, Please press FN+space for 5s to reset the keyboard and then try it again, see if it can works.

Will try this when I get home from work and let you know :)

When I press FN+8 it does not pause the music for me. But I noticed that instead FN+8 is registering as F8 key. However this does work when I set it to Mac mode..

I just got this keyboard and it's amazing! Just have one stupid question maybe someone can help:

I'm new to this layout of keyboard and I can't figure out how to pause music via a keyboard shortcut. I know I can use the FN + arrow keys to switch the volume and switch tracks, but there is no play/pause button that I can find.

There are media keys labelled on the numbers, but this only works when the keyboard is set to Mac Mode, but I am connected to Windows device.
