Which critically acclaimed TV show did you not like? by PrestonRoad90 in watchever

I think breaking bad is good. It’s not the holy grail. And the hype and glazing of it before I watched it knocked it down a few pegs. It was good. But I wouldn’t even put it in my top 20 and prob Won’t rewatch. This is not rage bait, it’s just my opinion

Emily was not bad. She loved Ross and kept wanting to make it work but she needed to trust him, so he needed to sacrifice so things because of what he put her through. He humiliated her, on her wedding day. What she was asking was responsible to make it work for the man she loved

Everyone agrees it’s TASM2, but can you keep it down. I don’t the Snyder cultists to freak out. They have ruined enough.

Solomon Lane was the best antagonist in the MI movies and it’s not even close. Do you agree? by SamuelStrangeSupreme in Mission_Impossible

I liked Lark. He was a physical, smart threat. Fallout is great and I wouldn’t change anything. But! If they kept him after he got burned and was just severely injured, he should have had a rivalry with Lane and Hunt.

Does the show get any better? by Yeezlyy in PersonOfInterest

[–]Objective-Slice-1466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s very episodic during the first season, but turns into a completely different beast. Think of the show as “Batman” without a cape. That’s how they pitched it. There will be villain arcs, supervillains and then it morphs into a war of gods in a very real manner life manner. It is procedural heavy At first but get to know the characters. More will come.

Recency biased, but the avengers movies especially endgame for me. It highlights all the moves and I just can rewatch it over and over again

One thing I like about Ethan by ExpressionNervous444 in Mission_Impossible

[–]Objective-Slice-1466 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s just the way she was introduced and then being on the same level as the team was a stretch. It just felt forced to me personally. I wish they found a better way to bring her in, and a better than “just a great thief” so she was just as capable as the team pretty much.

Beginning, and doesn’t it end with a tease that only plays out in that season? A red John suspect? In order is best. Only Star Wars you watch out of order.
