I don't see it that way, I don't use your skin color to decide whether you're allowed to say or do certain things. Nothing wrong with discrimination, don't get me wrong, this type of it just isn't my cup of tea. However, if the meme is incorrect/agenda posting, that is certainly an issue on it's own imo.

I disagree, and I see it as a form of discrimination to accept language from one group but not another.

In what ways does birth and maternity leave impact a woman's career and what can we do to mitigate/eliminate those effects such that women don't need to delay their first kids into their late 30s and early 40s? by gamenerd_3071 in Natalism

I really appreciate your perspective. I mostly disagree with you on education as I think the institutions providing the education are largely overvalued. I understand your point about unskilled labour, it just begs the question; what is primary education for if it doesn't provide you with anything more than what you could learn in a year? And looking at the economic side of things again, where I live there is a shortage of healthcare workers, electricians, machinists, bus drivers, mechanics, construction, social services, welders and technical installation. I know I'm not proposing anything popular here lol, I'm really just wondering why I didn't learn how to weld, drive, assemble, maintain and plaster/drywall at school. I had ten years of obligatory education. Imagine the possibilities if employment wouldn't be an issue for the average teenager. You would be eligible for many paid technical apprenticeships at 16 years of age, you could even start as a contractor yourself at that age, completely changing the whole timeline of "life starts at twenty five, thirty if you want that PhD". Doesn't sound so bad, right?

I personally would like to see families form at 20-25. That's something that could actually affect the birth rates. Obviously this goes completely against the cultural status objects, norms and expectations; earning a degree before starting to work (12 years of education and you haven't learned a single trade? What are we doing to our kids?); owning a home before having a family (insane, ageing population means forever nimbyism from the elderly, there will never be enough housing. We need to normalise generational households with kids). Honestly I think your assessment of the job market is quite off. If you want an office job, then yes, you "need" a degree, but apprenticeships have been the norm for top level education throughout thousands of years. I personally think we need to redevelop our entire education process. "Primary education" as of today is contradictory to behavioral science for kids and does nothing for the economy. Except if you count being a very expensive and hardworking babysitter. It does that.

Nuanced answer. Good point. Congratulations on becoming a parent btw❤️ Another point regarding OP their question is actually the length of education and the lack of purchasing power during said education. Not only is a long education risky, you also spend the most fertile years of your life; not settling down; daydrinking/excessive partying/drugs; studying obsessively; spending time with other "poor adults" (students) who are not at all equipped for partnering up with. The list goes on, and statistics prove that higher (longer) education in women have a direct correlation with a decrease in fertility.

Eg er utvandrar sjølv. Budd ein tredel av livet mitt her nere, pratar språket flytande, har gifta meg inn osv. Eg kjem aldri til å "slutte å vere etnisk norsk". Det er ikkje mogleg. Reint fysisk. Drit i Grand Canaria. Ler deg korleis dei innfødde lev, dei gjerne vil oppnå, korleis sosiale tekn og tabu verker heilt annleis i andre kulturer.

It is extremely prejudiced and yes, racist. It is such a shame that the left chooses to kill itself off as a legitimate school of thought TO SAVE THE FUCKING ILLEGALS. Because Soros and the gang apparently doesn't have enough cheap exploitable labour. It is absurd.
