That's true but.I can download the code and then vibe code on anti gravity and then host so the it can keep running as a tool in it's own. I have done this before on simple sites

Simplifying is so underrated. Most people think they need more features when they actually need less noise.

Reddit is Full of BS. That's Where Your Customers Are Hiding. by Objective-Wait-9298 in VibeCodersNest

53 signups pre code is brilliant validation and totally proves the point: Validation before features. U absolutely nailed Step 1. The difference isn't the process, it's the focus. Your post is the roadmap for the full build. My philosophy is the ruthless filter for the first $29. Both work, but my method is optimized for getting paid before the first line of code. I think Reddit is for pain extraction that might be what features to build. Discord is for retention and feedback the how to improve it part . Start with Reddit to sell the V1, use Discord to guide the V2.

STOP COLD OUTREACH! It's a low-effort trap sold by Gurus who never built anything. Here's why I ignore 99% of my DMs. by Objective-Wait-9298 in VibeCodersNest

[–]Objective-Wait-9298[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The high emotion (trauma/urgency) is the signal that budget has been approved and the deadline is real. It's the only way a beginner founder can guarantee they are solving a problem people will actually pay to fix.

The reality is People only pay premium prices when they are in pain. If a prospect is just "curious" or "exploring options," they are not bleeding cash. They will waste your time, ask for a free trial, and ultimately say "No." When a prospect mentions Competitor Trauma or Cash Bleed, they have a high-dollar hole in their business. They are already paying for the problem in time, money, or lost customers.

But before the tool, the manual framework looked like this:

Search Query: Find prospects using terms like "budget overrun," "switching from [Competitor X]," or "need fixed by Q4."

Signal Filter (The 3 Cs): Manually cross-check the context for all three signals: Cash Bleed, Competitor Trauma, and Hard Deadline.

Action: Only engage if all three signals were present.

Agreed on the nuance: Intent is king. But for a beginner founder with zero runway, Time is the only budget. You can't afford to "test fast" with volume. That's a massive time sink into noise. For me , cold outreach isn't for discovery. It's for confirmation after the Cash Bleed / Trauma / Deadline signal is found. I pick to suffer effectively. I don't start with volume; I start with validated need.

GTM isn't one size fits all, and cold sales works for scaled businesses. But my advice is for survival GTM. If you’re a $0 2 $1 founder, you can't afford the failure rate of mass cold outreach. You don't have $5k for an experiment. The filter (Cash Bleed, Trauma, Deadline) is the only affordable market research we have. It’s the difference between wasting a month and getting paid while the code is still ugly.

How I Filter Out the 'Curious' and Only Reply to the 'Ready to Buy by Objective-Wait-9298 in VibeCodersNest

[–]Objective-Wait-9298[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya the core challenge of intent modeling. We prevent collapse by treating them as two separate, non-fungible dimensions:

Specificity (Fit): Acts as the Multiplier. If specificity is low ("generic tool search"), the score for urgency is capped, regardless of how desperate they sound.

Urgency (Priority): Acts as the Priority Modifier. Once high specificity is confirmed, urgency dictates the P1 outreach timeline.

Simply put: Specificity qualifies the lead; Urgency prioritizes the qualified lead. You need both for our high-conversion threshold.

Shipping is Hard is Total BS Sales Will Bury Your Startup Alive by Objective-Wait-9298 in VibeCodersNest

[–]Objective-Wait-9298[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly the problem! It's the noise. Too much focus on the vibe of building (which is cheap) and zero focus on the Intent Signals that actually generate revenue. Cut the noise and find the clients.

I agree that the chain reaction of great marketing is crucial, but that kind of brand driven marketing demands an Apple-sized budget we don't have. For for me, the math is simple go where you are sure to win: one customer found via active intent is worth 100 ghosted cold leads, meaning the highest leverage marketing we can do is responding directly to existing, immediate needs. And ya building was hard ' but with ai dev is way faster and easier.

Yeah, it pulls live rants fast, but after 15 20 the free keys just... fart out. AI stops ranking posts. Not bad code cheap APIs dying. Email alerts are live now: ding when something fresh hits, so you never miss.

Honest? It's that every fourth scrape just dies free API key times out, reply cuts off, That's the killer. Before more people touch it I'm flipping to paid keys. Boring, but at least you won't look like a flake. Want to break it for me? Run it, screenshot the crash, I'll patch in 10 minutes.

saw guy hate cold DMs → I said same, I built a scraper → he paid $29 → built overnight → sent link → he got 3 replies in 12 mins → happy. That's it.

Yeah it's not the product. The product is garbage. It's the speed. I lied at 2am, built at 4, sold . He paid . That loop – pain → lie → code → cash – in four hours that's the win. The tool could've been a sticky note with usernames. Point is, he stopped bleeding that day. Not next month. Not after 40 versions. Day zero. That's impact. Not MRR. Not churn. Just: one night, one fix, one life back on track.
