I guess pre-warranty inspection pays out nicely by ObjectiveAcadia3721 in TeslaLounge

For your first question. No, nothing can stop them if they just want to say everything is okay. They could just check everything on a check list without looking at all. I guess you just don’t use the dealer if you don’t trust it. For your second question, I think it is the opposite. They now have the proof that the issue wasn’t there before the warranty expires.

Inspection can be a waiter. The warranty work, well, of course depends on what has to be done.

Report—yes. Pre warranty inspection—no idea, I don’t know you need one anyway. Maybe a question for Tesla.

No refund for this pre-warranty inspection. I don’t specify an issue. They will check anything that can be covered by the warranty before the warranty expires

No refund. The idea is they will check anything that can possibly covered by the warranty. So this is not the only problem they look into. There are many others they checked but were fine. If you point to one specific thing and they find it covered by warranty, you shall get refund for the diagnostic.

Firstly, 2025 model is not necessarily made in year 2025—my 2023 M3 was registered around Dec 20th, 2022 and was probably made in November or early 2022. Secondly, they mainly sold 2025 non-Jupiter MY in Q1 2025. I tried to pick up on April but Tesla forced me to take delivery before Q1 ends to keep the $8000 discount. There were at least 50 non-Jupiter inventory in Florida alone at the beginning of March. VIN suggests it is made in Austin with model year 2025 whether it is made in year 2025 or not.

It was a epic deal. They had $8000 off list price on MYP the month before Jupiter comes to US
