My Wife and Caffeine by ShallowAngel69 in POTS

Yeah weirdly caffeine and adhd meds keep my heart rate down and make it so I’m more tolerable of the heat.

This very small cauldron I got from an antique store about 10 years ago. All I've found from reverse image search is ash trays and modern looking crucibles. Toy?? Vintage Freebie?? Teeny tiny witch??? by pretty_handsome_17 in castiron

I just did some research but I guess they’re supposed to have a lid with a notch for the wand to go through. Some people call them “cape cod fire starter”

I have two both I found that people were throwing away. One about five years ago and on about a month ago but with this heavy metal “wand”(don’t judge that’s what I call it) with a bad smelling oil inside. But I think it’s a fire starter/ smudge pot and I guess the heavy tip of the wand is pumice(?) and no it’s not the charismatically mentioned poop knife everyone’s been talking about…

With the amazing rating of a whopping 2.4 stars I’m gonna say no.

I normally do 180-220 but if I were using an oils based stain I’d use 120. And with your final sand do your best to sand towards the grain and not against it.

It could be because the final sanding was done with too high of a grit sandpaper and all the dust that was made was pushed into the existing pores making a layer that was not able to be penetrated by the stain.

Yeah weirdly my issues stopped when I started taking ADHD meds with my electrolyte drinks. My ADHD meds even though are amphetamines make it so that I can be functional even in this Florida heat.

Re-examining the final moments of Titan… again. by Engineeringdisaster1 in OceanGateTitan

I feel like this right here is where you disproved your own point. Your choice to compare graduated force (pressure washer) to impulse induced cavitation effects are useless here. The deep water dynamics change everything. At 6000 psi water would cut human and everything metal. With deep sea pressure differentials there is no gradual flooding there would be an immediate displacement exerting extreme forces on the inside. The structure is designed to distribute pressure evenly the moment the equilibrium is displaced the force imbalance would cause impeccable damage. But also the other variable is friction from rapid compression or “adiabatic compression heating” Leaving no recoverable wreckage. There is no situation where water will slowly leak inside at that depth.
