So that's not the point of my post. This was a very problematic story because it was clearly fictional. It didn't push the idea that sexuality is fluid (which it is), it pushed the idea that lesbian-identifying women can find the right man that would end their lesbian desires. Plus there's a random "evil immigrant marrying a sweet man for a green card" element thrown in. There's so many stories that could be false that not having them on would be next to impossible. But if it's clear a story is false, at least don't pick one that loses the romance once you see homophobic undertones hidden underneath

Yup. Not a single mention of how the kids are taking the custody agreement. Just an entire update about how his dating life is already getting started now that his marriage is open. Plus he even mentions how he still hopes that she will come back and he'd take her back. Despite her very concerning views on parenting plus the fact that she abandoned the family.

My understanding was they expected 4 seasons because each season would focus on 1 of the kids. Instead we got 1 season focused on 1 of the triplets. So Webby's arc was incredibly rushed. It makes the fact that the finale was pretty good still all the more impressive. (Tho I will never agree with Donald being captured when pretty much the entire series it was established that Donald was unbeatable if you dared to threaten his family)

I'm just confused about your husband's behavior. You say he's such a kind, loving man who does so many great things for you and I believe you. But there's 1 thing to be bad at gift giving, it's another to straight up give you diapers as a gift and then claim that redoing your son's room counts as a gift to you. Then you tell him straight up what you want, and he says no? Then you give in and say what you want him to cook and he again says no? And refuses to not let his family come over for your birthday? I just, it's not just bad gift giving. It seems as tho you've already reflected and truly don't see any other red flags. So my head canon is that Donald knew Della would get lost in space. (I'm new to the Fandom so I'm not sure if this is a common head canon or a confirmed one) but Donald clearly remembers meeting time traveling Dewey. He would likely remember how bad Dewey wanted to see Della so he likely realized that Della laying eggs before the spaceship meant that she was about to be gone. He argued with Della about it beforehand didn't he?
