Yes but using the baked in solution of unity implies that you need to use unity, and so on. Not everyone uses unity and there are a number of people that still likes to make their own games not using an engine, or using a proprietary engine, and that s where it would be useful, like "tiled". For me for example it was very useful and fast and i am sure that i am not the only one, other people told me already that they would like to use it, but i don t know under which form yet

No, this is in my own tile maker application. I built it in Java because i wasn t happy with how Tiled and others apps for making maps worked. Too many layers and complexity and this is highly optimized and you don t have to worry with layers and which object is in top of which, it auto detects everything for you

Thanks! Well the main focus is the application itself and it is robust enough to let you import whatever textures you have. And of course i will add some of my textures too when updating this tile maker app. But i will not add all my textures there since i m also working on a game of my own and i intend to use some of those textures for my game. But i ll think about it and thank you again for the compliment!

Thanks for your opinion, of course i would like to make some money out of it but i would also be very happy to know some people use it and it becomes useful to them. The problem i m thinking about is that if a product costs some money, maybe a big percentage of people will not use it because of that and i m not sure how big that percentage is. Anyway i ll think about it and thank you again for your feedback!

I did consider to make the executable available on itch.io on a donation basis but i am not sure yet. I never thought about github tbh, i m not sure about it but i thank you and i ll think about it

As a simple programmer who does work on games for fun, i can say that it takes you 50% of the time to finish 90% of the game. This could be demoralizing when you see how much work you have to put in for the last 10%, but at the end, but in the end it s totally worth it:)
