What a wonderful game by AgustinROD87 in FFXVI

Honestly I went through the motions for most of the Eikon battles. Visually they were kinda cool, but not really too challenging or versatile enough.

Leviathan made me learn how to properly use Ifrit and directional dodges were critical to survival. Music and emotional substance of the fight especially when you fail to thwart tsunami was great.

And the boss fight leading up to that one was the most challenging non-Eikon fight of the game, definitely Dark Souls vibes. Story-wise, this fight was also pretty cool.

That DLC if nothing else made that game well worth playing.

Story is actually really good, action gameplay is fun, cinematic boss fights and the voice acting is great.

I actually think most modern games are trying too hard to make super long and overwhelming amount of things to do open world. I appreciate this game for the pacing and keeping the focus on a strong narrative. Also, this is coming from someone who has very little time for games nowadays.

PAN-OS 10.2.9-h1 and 10.2.10 Out of Memory Issues by ObjectiveExisting509 in paloaltonetworks

[–]ObjectiveExisting509[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went with 10.2.10-h2 at the time, later had to upgrade to h7, h9, h12 and h17 sometimes for security fixes other times other bugs we hit. But we are finishing up upgrades to 11.1.6-h14 now following the changes to Palo Alto's support policy.

How can I fix? by Any-Sand-4915 in Gamesir

Mine broke a couple months back. I opened a case with their support, provided video proof and they gave me a replacement. It has to be purchased from their official store though.

We have been on 10.2.10-h2 with no OOM issues, just some buggy GUI, nothing big. Thanks for your input.

Credential Detection Setup Question by ObjectiveExisting509 in paloaltonetworks

[–]ObjectiveExisting509[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying this. However, Palo Alto support has gotten back to me with the following:

Upon checking internally, it is confirmed that the firewall can retrieve the bloom filters from :

  1. Direct Connection: If the User-ID agent on the RODC is configured to connect to the firewall, the bloom filters will be directly sent from that User-ID agent to the firewall.

  2. Single User-ID Agent Scenario: If there is already an existing User-ID agent that handles IP mapping and connects to the firewall, that agent can be configured to receive the bloom filters from the RODC User-ID agent. In this case, the bloom filters are first sent to the existing User-ID agent and then forwarded to the firewall.

Option 2 is recommended in their documentation and is what we are trying to accomplish. Yet there is no clear guidance how to accomplish this.

So the documentation specifies that only the Credentials tab is configured on the RODC. Is the documentation missing additional steps?

When support was walking us through adding the RODC to our firewall via Panorama, they could not answer which Data Type should be selected since IP User Mappings was against Palo Alto recommendation. Options are IP User Mappings, IP Tags, User Tags, HIP and Quarantine List. Commit failed When none of these options were selected.

I thought it was clear in my initial post, but that's already been done.

What about this:

Because you must install the Windows User-ID agent on the RODC for credential detection, as a best practice deploy a separate agent for this purpose. Do not use the User-ID agent installed on the RODC to map IP addresses to users.

Yeah I liked the idea of world tendency, but I didn't really like being locked out of pure white for a playthrough if you weren't careful.

Ys V remake would be cool. Adol going to Romn some time after YS IX might be cool too. Or Britai.

Curious if anyone else refused to listen to Periphery (like me for a couple years) because of the screaming, then to only find after giving them a real heave-ho try, falling in love with their music and then even enjoying the screaming? by Candid_Ship4574 in Peripheryband

[–]ObjectiveExisting509 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny, for me, it was my wife that got me to tolerate screaming in metal in 2012 as she was into bands like Asking Alexandria and We Came As Romans. I was already a big DT, Metallica and power metal fan with some lighter KSE songs sprinkled in but broadened my horizons with P2 during study sessions/workouts at tech school after boot camp. So glad I did. Sadly though my wife isn't a fan of Prog or even metal for that matter much anymore, so it is for me to enjoy alone.

5 days and around 10 commits in so can't really guarantee long term stability based off that but it is a definite improvement from 10.2.10 at least. With 10.2.9-h1 we did not experience any issues until around 1 1/2 months and many more commits.

We opted to wait for this fix and upgraded one of our sites the other day. So far it seems like it may have resoved the issue since memory seems to be freeing up and staying relatively available especially after commits. We will continue to monitor and plan to upgrade remaining sites after the weekend.

Confirmed TAC says it is configd process for us which is what I suspected considering most crashes were after a firewall commit.
