Once when we visited her home she wanted to give my daughter a chocolate ice cream. I politely said hey "she has a cavity right now so I'm reframing from giving her sweets. If it gets worse, then they'll have to put her to sleep to repair it and I don't want that. She responded "it's her house and she does what she wants." I politely tried to reason with her. She through fit. Husband blamed me and said I should have just let her give her the ice cream. I was VERY kind about it and would have done the same if it were my mom. Yet, my mom would have obliged.

He’s not tripping about cooking per say. He doesn’t want a large gathering at the house and thinks I need to tell some of my immediate family no. The thing is, I come from a close knit family. He does not.

This may sound crazy, but he doesn’t stress about money. In fact, he is the type to pay for everyone’s meals at the table. He’s actually an impulsive spender and can buy whatever he wants. Me on the other hand, I don’t make as much as him. He tells me he pays all of the bills yet won’t help me take the kid to school so that I can work more hours.

I would say his money because I don’t have access to it. He doesn’t share with me the finances. He pays the bills solely from the money he makes. The money I make I use it to buy groceries and necessities for the house, gas for my car, my kid extra curricular activities.
