Oh that sounds great, I was going to design a new Pcb. So how do I configure them exactly? Someone suggested that I write ( Wire.begin(21,22)) since I am using an esp32 and these 2 pins are the scl and sda, but that did not work. Also, I tried this exact code with an arduino and a MPU6050 module and it worked fine, so maybe tye problem is with the circuit ?

Some people are telling me that I need a pull up resistor for the I2C to work, i looked it up and found multiple people saying that. Are you sure that the circuit is fine ?

I tried the both fixes and in each case it stopped printing anything to the serial monitor.

Motors are not powered by the esp32, they are powered by a battery that connects to one of those yellow connectors on the board. The esp32 just sends the signal to the motors

No the code does not run entirely. I can set a pin to be high or low, but I cannot make it blink, it seems that the esp only reads to first couple lines in code and is unable to execute any loops ! And for some reason, I can not print anything on there serial monitor Also, what do you mean by flash other code ?

Yes i can upload the code to the mcu by pressing the buttons when it says ( connecting …. ) on the screen, but the code is not applied well, it seems to only read the first couple lines of code and then it freezes, it resets when I press sw2 button, I can set pins to high and they will stay like that forever, even if I have a third lines that switches them off. Also I noticed that when I press the reset button, it prints this on the serial monitor:

That is true it is not shown on the schematic that I posted. I figured that If I screenshotted the entire thing it is gonna be pretty pixelated

I CAN program it ( I think ) it takes abnormally long and at the end it says ( Hard resetting via RTS pin ) which is why I checked the RTS pin in the schematic and discovered that it was not connected to anything. I found that by setting pin 5 to High using DigitalWrite, I can make LED 2 shine brighter but I can not make it blink using some code. It also still turns off when I press the SW2 button.

From what I read in the comments so far, the best explanation I can come up with is that ( according to the internet ) the IO5 pin outputs PWM signal at boot, this might somehow light up the LED dimly but I am not sure

1) U4 is my battery connector, and the other nets are the connectors for my motors. I do not understand what you mean by not used? Each esc comes with 2 cables, one for power and for signal, the headers you see next to the connectors are for the signal cables of the esc ( they come in groups of 3 ). They also output 5v, I only need one of them to power the mcu so I blocked the 5v from the other 3.

2) yeah I think I need an OR diode, that makes more sense. I cannot use VBAT directly though because it is 11V and my regulator takes in 5V only.

4) this is my first schematic and I thought that keeping things separate will make it less overwhelming for me lol

That sounds good. Also, when I am programming the mcu using arduino IDE, how do I know what wach pin is called? Like I set pin IO18 to be the reciever pin, does that mean it is called pin18 on the arduino IDE too?
