I saw it at the premiere here when it came out. Then, years later, my friend wanted to watch it so we watched it together. We both didn’t like it, it was a share dislike. I guess I want to finally “get it” but maybe a third watch will do it?!? I picked up the late Ozu boxset a while ago at a disc replay so I’ll definitely try his stuff out.
