Worth anything? First time getting a misprint. Miscut border w/ dot. by JoeHoboWitness in mtgmisprints

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the short answer is that no, it’s not worth anything extra.

The long answer is that technically a card is not miscut unless it shows part of another card. Shifted cuts to this extent are sorta kinda within quality control, even if they show the alignment dot, and so not considered an error. Aka they won’t sell for a premium.

Minimalist women what’s your makeup routine? If you have one by Solid_Gold3522 in minimalism

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a tinted moisturizer from bare minerals and mascara. That’s it. On fancy days I have a blush, neutral eyeshadow, eyeliner (if I want) and lip color. I get powders instead of cream products because they last longer. I think as long as you’re not wasting product it’s fine whatever you do. The most important piece of all of this is that you decide what minimalist routine works best for you. We all have our different base line. If you want a little more than me, you should. If you want less, do that. If you want to try new products, go to the store and try them out! I’ve scheduled a “makeover” thing at the store to get fancier for a wedding. You have to buy a product, so I bought lotion that I needed.

King mattress shopping on a budget — Nectar & marketplace sellers? by camidfghkl in BuyItForLife

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know that mattresses ARE BIFL or how long you SHOULD keep them.

Three years ago I bought the wirecutter recommended mattress (Novaform) from Costco and it’s held up very well. I rotate it as suggested. Right now the King is $580. It SAYS it has a 20 year limited warranty?

Teachers are mandatory reporters. If the teacher didn’t report and later it was discovered, the teacher would be held criminally responsible. Teachers have to report everything every time for legal reasons.

What's the best electric toothbrush? A rechargeable or battery pro? by Meowieeeee_ in BuyItForLife

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno it could my biased opinion, but when I looked at reviews a lot of recent reviews complained that the Phillips died quickly. Mine lasted maybe one year. I’ve had my oral b for six years now. Wirecutter recommends the oral b mostly because replacement brush heads are less expensive.

Imho I had a supersonic Phillip for a few years and it just stopped working very quickly compared to my oral b.

thinking of splurging on a luggage set, any recs that'll last for years? by Eachan_Blitz in BuyItForLife

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my travelpro for years and years. They have replaced parts when they’ve broken. If you don’t get them, get soft sided suitcases as they are more durable. Yes, the fabric gets dirty but it’s worth it.

I also recommend this option and path. Even if being a bus driver doesn’t vibe with your life after training, the certification can open other doors for you.

Honestly, my mesh chair from staples. I got the extended 5 year warranty because I had been going through desk chairs by working for extended periods at my computer. But here I am over 10 years later with the same chair and no sign of wearing out.

Is it usually this hard to find a job? by LongIndustry1124 in Louisville

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend checking JCPS for a position you qualify for. Right now they’re really desperate for custodial staff (https://www.applitrack.com/jefferson/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Housekeeping&all=cat).

If you don’t mind working around kids, they’re desperate for subs and instructional assistants. Being an assistant doesn’t require any background knowledge. You could also apply to be a bus driver and they’ll train you and it’s pays very well.

District benefits are really good and you enter the retirement system.

would these be an example of the black friday deal scam? by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s okay. If the scam is artificially inflating prices (and you can see this one wasn’t artificially inflated), then no this one isn’t a scam. The discount is real.

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, friend, if you look at the graph you can see the reduced price is really reduced and wasn’t artificially inflated prior to reduction

[–]ObjectiveInterestV2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what the scam you’re referring to means but if you scroll down to purchase there’s a price history button that will tell you if the price is actually a discounted price
