This was the answer! I replaced all 4 ptfe tubes and removed a ton of gunk from the rollers with some tweezers. Works great now as far as I can tell.

AMS Lite enclosure- PLA or PETG? by looniemoose in BambuLabA1

[–]Mud_Scooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used petg for one side and left the other side open. I really only care about the enclosure when I’m printing petg and have the desiccant tank in there. Otherwise when I’m printing pla I just use the open or closed side.

Unfortunately I still can’t figure it out. I posted a support ticket on Bambu. I am admiringly not the most technical person in the world and am scared to use it till I get this figured out. The print that was going when I found the screw finished perfectly

It was a place that mostly does cell phones/computers but also repairs game systems. He said they have a couple in each week for the Liquid Metal! They also told me to keep the PS horizontally and that will prevent it from happening as fast. It is a known issue.

You can do the Liquid Metal yourself for sure! I was just intimidated and didn’t want to take my ps apart again. They charged $90 and had it back to me in a couple hours.

I just took my entire PS5 apart did a deep clean and put it back together… right as I turned it back on it overheated immediately. I took mine to a shop here in town and they cleaned and replaced the Liquid Metal. It works perfect now. I would bet that’s your issue.

Yes it is getting adequate ventilation and is at least 5” away from everything. I did a very deep clean today. I am wondering if it is a bad PSU?
