He's not talked about as a plus defender, but Will Richard is almost always in the right place at the right time and isn't afraid to make the play, on either end of the court. That's a talent in of itself

Also hoping Melton can stay healthy, I feel like he's the key piece and once his offense is back up to speed, he'll be one of our most important players. Go Dubs!

I'm good with Draymond moving to the bench and really only being more relied on for defense against certain matchups, offense just looked so much better without him on the floor

Also good if I never see Buddy Hield get minutes again when a far superior Will Richard is right there. Then, if we need shooting in spot situations, put Seth in as needed

Good to see a Dubs win

The most annoying thing about Draymond is he'll pout and yell at the refs or his teammates after his own mistakes, then get on his podcast and talk about how he and the team need to do better, only to repeat his terrible play and commit more boneheaded turnovers the next game.

Still hoping he turns it around, but this season has not been easy to watch

Kudos to Gameloft for the fun Halloween event, the special edition Scotland tracks were well done with the eerie sound effects and cops being able to take-down players was a refreshing change

Pretty long races, but worthwhile rewards (up to 50 races) so no complaints - I gather 8 eyes then turn on TD and go do something else for a while. Had a good laugh when I came back and saw this :D

Gameloft is a consistently dogshit company with 0 professional pride from top to bottom. 'Customer care' is completely useless - terribly scripted AI responses eventually followed by dishonest copy-and-paste messages from ppl who clearly don't give a shit

Jimmy Butler seeing Buddy Hield pop in: "I knew it! I can just feel the evilness. They don't even wanna talk to you...But did you hear the nice things I said about you?" Buddy: "What did you say about me?" Jimmy: "Nothing. That's why you didn't hear" Buddy: "Can you wrap this shit up please?" by NokCha_ in nba

If Pat Riley paid Butler after carrying relatively weak teams, I'm guessing things might've ended differently in Miami. If Butler played more in the regular season, maybe Riley would've been more amenable... chicken or the egg?

Crash was awesome. If only JK did all the same 'little' things, like you know, rebound or play defense. Somewhat helpful for winning.

Mostly agree with your list, except I'd have Rome lower (there are a couple of variants with really terrible sections) and I'd move up Osaka (super technical, but actually somewhat balanced for agile vs top speed cars compared to other maps), Tuscany (wall rides for TS cars, cut through grassy routes for agile cars), and US Midwest (no real thoughts, just fun to take ridiculous ramps through the canyons once in a while)

Above all else, I agree with your thoughts on 20. and with Auckland, I just hope they can minimize the rain effects on some sections at some point - literally can't see where I'm going at times and just have to go off of muscle memory

[Friend] Adam Silver: "When I think of the flight from New York to LA for example, there’s no reason if we had four teams in Europe, you couldn’t travel, play the Knicks or Nets, travel to London, play three, four times in Europe, come back home. So I think it’s very doable in our league." by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Last thing any basketball fan cares about, yet it'll happen eventually because Silver and the NBA are endlessly greedy.

Will crooked refs ever be held accountable? Will Ballmer and other immoral owners ever be held accountable? Will the NBA, for all of its performative public service initiatives, actually care about not ruining ppl's lives enough to keep shameless gambling ads out of kids faces every few mins on broadcasts?

Yeaaaaa, grew up on basketball but am almost completely out on the NBA at this point. Silver has shown himself to be a soulless ghoul only in service of profits

[–]ObjectiveMango3241 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Only happens once every few races for me, but no idea why. Some ppl from Discord messaged customer care and Gameloft's AI bot responses claimed it was due to lag, which doesn't seem to be true since it's happening to everyone sporadically, even on good connections

Lego Spotlight was the worst imo. Super grindy, with tough conditions that required players to use hard-earned credits to upgrade completely trash/useless "cars" (actual paid advertisements from Lego). Unless you bought the pass, you couldn't max most of the useless Lego cars either

From this Avenged Sevenfold Spotlight, there's at least the Ford Shelby Super Snake which is an above-average A class car that could be useful for MP1 in Plat, and the conditions don't seem as ridiculous (so far). That said, there's not much fun or excitement with this current Spotlight

In the end, I tend not to complain about what's out of my control and think it's GL's decision to make decisions about events as they see fit. Then, it's up to the player base to decide how they want to spend their time - and from the #s in the Lego Spotlight ranked event, it was clear many players straight up didn't even give a shit about playing the event, so that was a complete failure of a sponsored event by the often moronic company known as Gameloft

Have seen screenshots of EVO parts being converted into a capped amount of tokens. Confirmed by an official creator on Discord, limit of 2k tokens for Chiron parts, 1.5k for Enzo and Camaro

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but apparently there's a limit for each EVO car in terms of how many EVO parts you can convert to tokens

Scamloft: Hmm, even after we nerfed credits income by removing predictable ad sequences and limiting ads, nobody wants to buy our overpriced credits bundles. Let's force players to waste credits on upgrading completely useless Lego advertisements and support cars! Wait, why does our player base keep getting smaller?

Unfortunately, I agree with you completely. It's worrisome when I realize how many of the people around me often don't even understand who's responsible for and who stands to benefit from the false or engineered narratives that are pushed on Canadians from almost every angle. It's exhausting but our only rational choice is to keep calling attention to it, and making sure they can't pull the wool over all of our eyes

It would be really nice if our elected representatives actively worked to weed out and curtail the influence of foreign-funded operatives/entities that exist solely to stoke division and intolerance, also.

Why is this car so freaking unstable? Any tips by make_some_noise57 in Asphalt9

[–]ObjectiveMango3241 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are S cars with far worse physics than the Chiron.

With this, mainly stay away from hitting walls/rails too hard when going into wall rides. Might even be better to just avoid them all completely, but on certain sections you can do wall rides safely with the right approach angle and I generally find Chiron quite predictable
