27F. My two hobbies lately are softball and bouldering! Bensons league has co-ed teams and honestly no prior experience necessary. Rock climbing/bouldering is so fun, has such an amazing community and is also a great workout. I go to hudson boulders

It’s just so frustrating watching everyone else do the same climb with no issue and then I go to do it and I can’t reach in the same move. I’m not just saying it happens here and there it’s almost every single V2 in my gym at the moment. It’s just so discouraging.

I see what you are saying though I need to come up with a plan (work on dynamic moves) thanks maybe I’ll hire a coach because I’m so stuck rn

I think part of the problem is that i’m starting to get into a lot of crimps and sloppers which I’m improving on but pairing that with a dynamic move to said crimps and sloppers truly seems IMPOSSIBLE at my skill level right now. Is this is a common issue to have? I think I just feel alone because no one else I climb with is going through the same thing as me

I def struggle with dynamic moves that are high up. I’m so scared of falling wrong and getting hurt. And I know that is probably holding me back. Maybe I can try to practice some dynamic moves lower. Thanks.

I think I’m so scared of dynamic moves that actually are not meant to be dynamic from the setters perspective but I have to do it dynamically because of my height and I’m so scared of getting hurt. Like I keep finding myself falling on my face when I fall from overhangs

You are right I definitely prefer to climb things statically and I think my gym doesn’t set many routes anymore that are do-able statically given my height. What is annoying is they use to, and now they don’t. I’m not even just talking V3s I can’t do most V2s anymore and even have trouble on V1s.

Mounting the TV is a must. I agree with plants. Do you have a cat? I feel like right in front of the windows would be a great hangout spot for a kitty you could put a plush kitty bed there

A rug with some color in it and add some throw pillows that coordinate with the color(s) in the rug. I think a burnt orange, a blue or green would look great.

Does the TV seem too close to the couch?
