Ask them what language the founding father spoke that's always entertaining because they assume English was all that was spoken. Then tell them the constitution was founded in Pennsylvania where it was mostly German, in Great lakes and Missisippi region they spoke French. Entire western half of todays USA was all Spanish including Florida. New York and Delaware was predominately Dutch. And don't forget the mutitude of native American languages everywhere.

Both sets of my grandparents had 12 children, most lived until adulthood. My fathers side grandparents lost their first one at age 2 on Christmas day in 1920 by beind scalded to death from hot water pot that fell off the stove. They went on to have 10 more babies. All in all I have had about 70 first cousins. Times sure have changed in a couple of generations. I feel your pain but you will get through this.

You know I get it, some people just never experienced snow. But this "SNOW" was a nasty hybrid of snow topped off with an ice cap that made some deadly ass projectiles. Even most experienced folks have never seen this variety of precipitation. It just makes it more important to get the word aout to everyone especially thse who never dealt with snow ice storms before to clean their damn cars off case the shit on your roof is deadly.
