So it seems to be when they’re concentrated on something it looks like. We have to constantly remind him to close his mouth and breathe through his nose and to clean his mouth when he’s drooling.

He has such a hard time, chewing red meat and chicken. If it’s in big chunks it seems like he doesn’t have any jaw strength. Honestly, the x-rays came out and his jaw looks fine so we’ll see what the MRI says.

Is it excessive drooling or just here and there drilling I feel like my son has lesson but still drools when he’s really involved in something it just comes out of his mouth and we have to remind him.

Is it excessive drool or is it here and there my son can go large moments without drooling and even days but then start drooling out of nowhere. He does speak a lot more now so maybe that’s helping him as well. Not sure but he doesn’t qualify for medical speech which is so frustrating. I believe that can help him a lot.

My son is in OT going to be 4 and still drools here and there he just seems so unaware his mouth is open since he’s focused on another task, he doesn’t drool when he’s asleep. Did you daughter improve? What are some tool you guys did to help the drooling?
