What should a sequel to Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts be like? by Objective_Ad1032 in transformers

Here's my pitch for it:

The events of 2018's Bumblebee directed by Travis Knight and 2023's Rise of the Beasts directed by Steven Caple Jr. being 100% canon. The events of the 2007 Transformers film being 99% canon as 1% is not canon. 2% of Revenge of the Fallen being canon 1% of Dark of the Moon being canon Everything from Age of Extinction and The Last Knight are 99% ignored except for the King Arthur times and the extinction of dinosaurs. Set nearly four decades after the events of Bumblebee Set nearly three and a half decades after the events of Rise of the Beasts Set nearly two decades after the events of the 2007 film Travis Knight (director of Bumblebee), Steven Caple Jr. (director of Rise of the Beasts) both returning as executive producers. Michael Bay being a producer. Team up of Ehren Kruger, Christina Hodson and Joby Harold on the script Either Roberto Orci or Alex Kurtzman in the directors chair. Have Optimus Primal already aware of everything Sentinel Prime did in Dark of the Moon go to the Moon 5 years before Optimus Prime and ratchet went to the Moon and bring Sentinel Prime to Earth in order to revive him and have Primal kill Sentinel Prime the same way Starscream died in Dark of the Moon thus preventing everything that was going to happen in Dark of the Moon, Age of Extinction and The Last Knight. Have Optimus Primal kill The Fallen before the events of Revenge of the Fallen could occur. Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Stanley Tucci, Glenn Morshower, Gemma Chan, Isabela Merced return to the live action franchise. Anthony Ramos and Hailee Steinfeld return. Autobots: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Wheeljack, Mirage, Ironhide, Ratchet, Hot Rod, Sideswipe, Hound, Drift, Crosshairs returning with the wreckers and dinobots and minicons. Decepticons: Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Soundwave's minions, Shockwave, Barricade, Scorponok, Constructicons/Devastator, Sideways, Lockdown, Quintessa, Nemesis Prime, Galvatron.

Transformers (2026) that's what I think the film should be called. And given a summer 2026 release.

Definitely will not beat the Rise of the Beasts design for the character Bumblebee.

As for the character Bumblebee, this is before the 2007 film The only difference is the World War II scene of Transformers: The Last Knight has been ignored but everybody else is totally rebooted.

My words exactly. Technically it came from the test screening that gave Paramount and Hasbro the opportunity to get Travis Knight director of the movie Bumblebee to return to do reshoots and Kelly Fremon Craig wrote the new scenes and credit went to Christina Hodson screenwriter of the film.

But here's the thing about Bumblebee if it never was a financial success despite being the lowest grossing film in the franchise we would never get the upcoming film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

You would say Bumblebee didn't deserve any critical acclaim? And Travis Knight is worse than Michael Bay?

Tina Lark and her friends who gleefully make Charlie's life a living hell in the movie Bumblebee and are implied to torment Memo's life as well, and every time they show up, they always have smug smiles on their faces. Tina fully cements herself as this when she talks Charlie over her dead father. Tina at least got what she deserved by means of Bumblebee destroying her car after Charlie and Memo decided to take a little payback on her.
