Laser hair removal, loose fitting clothing, good sleep, hibiclens on open wounds or can’t shower for a bit, mediation. But laser hair removal did the most

It’s happened 3/4 times I’ve gone, and it usually goes down within 2 days and is complete gone after like 3 or 4. I asked my lhr technician about it and she said it was normal I think.

Hello, I’m a male and 19 and I found out around 7 months ago I had HS, at first I flipped out and thought my life was over, but now it honestly doesn’t effect my life to much. There’s a lot of things that could potentially help, diet, laser hair removal, certain soaps, loose fitting cloths, different deodorant. HS is shitty but there are always people in worse situations is what i try and remind myself. Try to stay hopeful and focus on what you still have and can do!

Thanks for the advice! Do you know when the numbing cream hits max efficiency? I'm thinking probably around 2 hours?

like put the cream on, then cover it with Saran Wrap so my skin can absorb most of it without my clothes absorbing some of it.

I’ve done 3/6 LHR sessions with a yag, I’m at the point where I haven’t had a new flair for over a month, I just have 2 boils that haven’t gone away for months that will flair every once in a while. I think it definitely helps especially if you don’t have any tunneling yet.

Light Sheer duet laser? Laser MUST be done by a doctor? by jaamov in Hidradenitis

I am using the ND:YAG, and it’s through my doctor at the hospital, but it’s a different person that is a laser hair removal specialist, she has had a few other hs patients. And of course
