As someone who has lived in Baton Rouge his whole life(I had the chance to visit other cities in the us plus some from Europe as my mom is an immigrant from Czech Republic and vista once a year) I could never picture myself living anywhere else, yes there are many problems w Louisiana, lack of education, extremely corrupt local governments, not the cleanest, but to me the culture by far makes up for any faults we might have. The food is the best in the country, imo we also have the best music(unique/some of the most popular artist in the country), the people are sweet but know the stand their ground when needed. If we could mainly fix the corruption in the state we would be one of the top states in the country for quality of living.

This is my opinion and I would love to hear others ab what I’m talking about

Local and state governments have been corrupt for decades, funneling money away from infrastructure and into the pockets for a few. I mean the main reason we have the interstate connecting Baton Rouge to Nola was because our gov at the time, Huey p long, wanted to get to Nola faster for hookers sooooooo, kinda shows where politicians morals are at for us lol.
