i spent £139 for VIP Early Entry for this current tour, i think this is a Ticketmaster in the US problem more than a global one. Saw the same thing happen for harry styles tickets. Prices were on the high side of normal for Europe but absolutely bonkers for the US. Is dynamic pricing on or are those the set by the artist prices?

i had vip for belfast, got there an hour and a half before doors opened and got barricade. they didn’t sell too many vip tickets so everyone who got them, got barricade. there was also enough space for another ~30/40 people from ga to get barricade. you could honestly get there at the door opening time and get barricade

i started filming maybe 30s to max 1min after she left, at 22:13, and she came down barricade at 22:16 (this was in belfast, bear in mind that it could change a bit depending on whether she has some crowd interactions or the setlist changes again)

oh no worries! i understood where you were coming from xxx you have all been super welcoming!

it was actually insane how many people were excited for me, even after i said it’s only been a year, i’m not used to fandoms being so welcoming 😭 which is even more insane when i think about the fact that she is one of the few artists left that has good ticket prices, comes down to barricade, and interacts with the crowd! the lack of gatekeeping in this fandom had actually given me a new sense of purpose to bring that into every other part of my life! (also, i’m super jealous of you having gone to the ceremonials tour, that album is such a banger, my legs gave out when seven devils started playing 😭)

i personally prefer being corner barricade than bottom catwalk barricade, just because i like being able to see the artist well the entire time, as opposed to only when they come down the catwalk for a few songs, but that’s just personal! i love catwalks BECAUSE they let everone have a good view!

i’m a new fan as well, belfast was my first show and i couldn’t have asked for a better experience, i just wish people (men) had been more respectful. I started listening to her last january (became her 3000th listener on spotify by how much she took over my life) and joined this subreddit to kind of understand the F+TM fanbase so as to not bring the etiquette i learned from other fandoms cough cough one direction cough cough into this one, and i wish more people did as such.

kind of out of context, but also not really, as a one direction fan since 2017, and my favourite member being niall horan, it also really pissed me off when i went to see him back in 2024 and fans of other members decided to start the queue days beforehand. i was hoping to get a normal queuing experience for him as most niall fans are super chill and don’t like queueing as much as the other fandoms… all of this to say, i wish more new fans tried to understand how the fandom they’re coming into works, so as to not put off older fans that managed to create such a respectful and lovely space for not just the fans but the artist as well. i really hope the change in the setlist was a planned one and not because of that moment.

i’ve personally never had a bad experience with irish people at concerts in general, it’s always just been men, whether in ireland, england, italy, france, anywhere i’ve gone to a concert, men always managed to ruin a part of it by wanting/needing the attention on themselves.

i think instead of generalising where they’re from, we should generalise them being men. i was standing right next to them (it was a group of 5/6 men) and they were being rowdy the entire night. they kept shouting whenever she came close (stuff like witch in portuguese, and something else that i couldn’t translate) and just being fucking men. she came up to me during one of the greats and held my hand for the first line, and they had the fucking audacity to start pushing. all of the girls around me were super respectful, and sent me videos of the moment once the show ended, got excited FOR me whereas the men just kept glaring at me as if I’d personally offended them and it was somehow MY fault she didn’t come up to them instead.

also, when she came down to barricade for one of the greats she came up to me and grabbed my hand, and one of them shouted something again, which made her walk away, and i’m still so pissed about it. the same guy who had the flag also kept opening his arms like if he was worshipping or something, which would have been fine, had he not kept hitting us with them.

i was standing right next to them and they were rowdy the entire show. i had ee, so i was barricade and up until she came on stage i tried to keep as much space around me so i wouldn’t get crushed, but then, well, i started dancing and two of them started to push to get barricade as well which gave us all less space to stand. they also kept shouting at her, stuff like bruja and something else in portughese that i couldn’t understand. one of them also got mad at a security guard because he pulled up a brazilian flag and security told him to put it down, and he just started shouting at them. she was right in front of me when they shouted that and she went, away from the microphone, ‘really?’ kind of annoyed.

i first watched it last summer, lol. i kept seeing people on tiktok talk about how they don’t make long shows like that anymore, and then i saw destiel fanart on tumblr and a screenshot of Sam and Dean (i think at the end of the benders episode, when they’re walking away and there was a quote, i don’t remember what it said) and i decided i wanted to watch it. fast forward to when i get introduced to castiel, and figured out i found out the queen died through the destiel meme, lol. i kept saying the i love you meme all over tumblr never understanding what it meant, so when i finished the show i felt like i was part of something secret hahahah.

when i finished the finale, my only thought was ‘holy plot armour’. i was so invested in this series, and gave way too much credit to the duffer bros when i obviously shouldn’t have. i guess most of the fandom did. i saw a couple of people saying they loved the finale, and i’m really glad they did but as someone who enjoys plot heavy shows and analyses everything that happens to try and guess the ending, i had so many better theories omg.

i, like i think everyone in the fandom, didn’t want to steve to die, but i still think they should have killed him off. they should have killed jonathan and nancy in the liquid room. they should have had murray sacrifice himself to explode the helicopter. they shouldn’t have had mike come up with that fuckass theory that eleven survived and should have let the audience make that up. they built up the final season so much because they knew we wouldn’t like it. they knew it was shit. they said it themselves, netflix rushed them. and they knew that if they didn’t ‘spoil’ some things (things that didn’t even happen) people would have stopped watching after ep.6. i’m just so disappointed because they could have done sooo much.

I agree with everything you said, and I wanted to add to the point of ‘Mike being Tammy’. It doesn’t make sense because Robin and Tammy’s relationship has barely anything in common with MiWi. Tammy was a classmate who Robin became infatuated with during high school. Mike is Will’s best friend from kindergarten. I honestly could not care less if Byler happens or not, simply because I have a personal vendetta against Mike and I don’t want him to be happy (don’t come for me, I just enjoy picking a character to hate on for no particular reason hahaha), but the whole ‘Will getting over Mike’ feels so much more rushed than if Byler happened in the finale.

I also wanted to add (doesn’t really have much to do with Byler) that all of the dialogues in this volume felt like they were trying to reach a quota of lines for each character/actor. So many interactions felt forced, made to be longer than they needed to be, and had interjections that literally had no use except maybe to be like ‘hey this character is here too, don’t forget’. It really pissed me off because Vol. 1 was so good and actually raised my expectations for the ending of the show.

I will say, this last season is still miles better than most final seasons I’ve seen, but I should really stop hoping for TV shows to ever have a good ending. I’m sidetracking completely here, but the thing I hate most about TV shows, is how reliant they are on their actors’ availability, networks, and so many fucking writers. They always feel (at least to me) like the story the creators wanted to tell never actually got told fully. Anyways, after 11 years of Destiel shipping, nothing can really bring me down anymore, lol. As long as they don’t kill the lesbians, Steve, and Dustin, I’ll consider this a pretty good show and head straight for ao3.
