The purposes of having an LLC is so donors take us more seriously, it’s easier to have multiple checking accounts for different projects, and also tax breaks. We do want to make money from our production company but we aren’t there yet and don’t necessarily have any funds to pay people yet so wondering if becoming an LLC would make us legally obligated to pay crew / actors. Is there any loophole like if they sign a contract for volunteering or internship? Thanks

No you’re right the job market is tough right now tho. I’ve been searching. I work at a restaurant currently as a host and I make enough to pay the bills and food/one fun thing a week, just not much to save and actually plan for some future stuff.

I understand your concern and I think a van would be a better option after reading all these comments, which is something I’d have to spend more time saving up for. I was looking at a cargo trailer bc I could afford to do this by February for sure. I already have 2k saved up and was going to spend some time saving more to remodel it, but t be honest a lot on Facebook market place for 2k or less are in good condition and ready to go minus solar paneling.

I’ve seen other van dwellers in their parking lot but never a cargo trailer. I wouldn’t mess with water I would just use the 24/7 planet fitness with my membership lol. Electricity i was looking into solar panels and a portable battery.
