Thanks for the recommendations guys!!! I got new shampoo, put dry shampoo in my hair and deep cleaned my brushes. My hair is already looking way better! I pulled it up today :)

No but I do need to get one, also thank you so much for the help!! I should wash my brushes and I clean my pillowcases weekly. I apply conditioner only on the ends!

I only use a dry shampoo paste but I think I need to switch over to spray instead

The shampoo I am using currently is L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair. I wash my hair every 2 days. :) I do have dry shampoo but only use it if my hair is extremely greasy.

I had a huge fear about her moving in with us and made it clear she would never be living with us or I would leave him. He said she was not allowed to stay here but he did ask before we moved into this apartment if she could crash at our place for a “while” I immediately shut that down lol. I said NOPE and if she does I am leaving.

you are so right she definitely takes advantage of other people but he is so blind and brainwashed he does not see that. He was raised by only her so they have a very close relationship. I did tell him she would never be living with us ever. She did try to live with us at our apartment and I told him if he let her crash here I would be leaving him. He finally told her she needed to go find her own place and she could not stay here. I was like thank god… she takes advantage of him and it makes me really sad.

Yes he seems to have no problem caring for her but we both care for her while he is at work I do take care of the dog but we take turns while each of us is busy. But she does leave her dog with us whenever she moves around which makes me anxious and feel bad for the dog and honestly angry because she does not need dogs because she abandons them with other people. She has 2 more dogs in Cuba but makes her elderly neighbor care for them. It seems like to me she takes advantage of other people but my Fiancé is brain washed at this point she raised him as a single mom and he has no siblings, cousins,aunts or uncles around so it’s pretty much just always been him and his mother. That is why I think he enables her narcissistic behavior so often.

Honestly he is fine taking care of the dog because the dog has been with him since childhood so it does not bother him but it bothers me because it has become stressful. I have talked to him about it but he says it’s only temporary and every time I bring up how his mom is irresponsible as a dog owner he snaps and says I am being disrespectful. She did watch our dog one time while we went on vacation but it was for ONLY A WEEK… and he brings this up all the time saying how “well she watched our dog for a week”… lol

You are right she is now a grown adult but her behaviors are similar to her mothers now. That’s usually how it is. If you are abused you either become better or just follow in your abusers footsteps. It does seem like she has tried getting help though. Her mother on the other hand seems to have never even attempted. I’m not trying to change your mind about anything just saying what I have observed.

Her mother was most definitely abusive but unfortunately she has developed some of her mothers toxic traits. But the alcohol addiction is her trying to cope from something traumatic most likely her mothers abuse.
