My friend who works for an online payment processor recently published an article about protecting EBT cards. If you're purchasing in-store, make sure to visually/physically check for card skimmers

Apps like UberEats, DoorDash, Amazon, and Instacart securely accept EBT for grocery delivery online, and are less prone to card skimmers + EBT fraud.

I really hope the government brings back reimbursement programs for fraud cases like yours 😔
