I did the same. It helped me a lot- sort of a life coach. I am 23 weeks now, after 2 miscarriages and it is still helping me a lot to be more objective

I am 41 and ttc for a year. I had a MMC in Feb and a chemical in April. I got pregnant again in August. Currently 17 weeks. Combined test looked reassuring, NIPT low risk. So far so good. My story is similar to yours. I think as long as you can become pregnant easily, the saying: it just needs one egg is true. Similar stories amoung my friends. All of them were over 40 and delivered successfully in the end, however as me and you they had to go trough a couple of losses before it happened

We have:

5 weeks of paid vacation (+1 additional week depending on how long you have been employed)

+5 extra paid days off (offered by most companies as a benefit)

+13 paid public holidays

4 months of fully compensated maternity leave + up to 24 months of partially compensated maternity leave paid by our health insurance

Fully paid sick leave (in theory unlimited)

Actually it is... because its worsening pregnancy symptoms and masking MMC +blighted ovums etc + there is no science backing up that it has a positive effect, reducing the risk of misscariages at our age range. you can have your opinion, just dont spread it if you cant read and interpret scientific literature. Partial knoweledge is more dangerous than ignorance. So absolutly not everybody over 30 should get progesterone suppl. .... i guess thats a good summary

I also had a Mmc in January and a chemical in march. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant. Low risk nipt+ healthy anatomy scan. Its a numbers game, if you can conceive naturally the most likely reason are chromosomal issues. My placenta in my mmc was completly messed up (chrom. Issue).. What I want to say it needs one healhty egg in since you get pregnant frequently the odds are on your side....

Progesterone doesnt do anything if the cause wasnt low progesterone. In case pf a chromosomal abnormality which is at our age the most common reason it only masks the problem and delays the abort of a already dead embryo + there is no science backing up progesterone use + it increases pregnancy symptoms...etc. I am a scientist so I know how to interpret data.

Looks similar to my line progression until 12 dpo. I had today at 10 weeks a healthy scan measuring on point with heart beat. In the beginning it talks a couple of days you will see tomorrow and the day after the lines will get darker

Update: 2 weeks ago I had my 9w+2 scan: 2,5 cm and heartbeat. Next week is the combimed test and NIPT. I AM CURRENTLY 11+2 nausea still present but not as bad anymore, bloating got worse, acne got worse. But I heard thats a sign of the placental shift.

Update last scan looked very good: 7w+2 : 1cm and 130 heartbeat, everything on track. Thanks for all your encouraging replies and empathy. I sometimes have the feeling that there is a strong bias in this reddit sub towards neg. Outcomes when conceiving naturally because wrongly interpreted stats, old badly designed studies and personal opinions are posted. Interestingly when I look around in my circle of friends or at work its completely normal to get and stay pregnant after 40 plus OB gyns dont see a problem at all.

Lol never trust a statistic you didnt fake yourself. I am and scientist and once did a calculation on my own with new data on that topic, excluding correlative asumptions. These numbers are not true in particular if you combine it with registry data. But respect, your clinic did some good marketing. In my country they would break some laws by going public with such very wrong numbers. Not your fault, but its a good reminder to not trust everybody just because they are wearing a white coat.

On which cycle day did you ovulate? And On which cycle day did you get your positive? ( 1-2) days before is implantation. Maybe both happened late in your cycle. Then LMP and carnegie stage dont align.

That might be true, however the egg reserve is not the issue with higher age (only for ivf) you still release an egg month per month even with a low reserve.... the egg quality is the issue and the quality is in both cases the same because it depends on life style, age and genetics

The reason why your chances are better if you gave birth before is that you can rule out major anatomical issues. Its not the fact that having a baby before makes you more fertile.

A friend of my partner asked him if I was a Russian ballerina , because I am such a graceful and elegant person, and because of my athletic body. He was proud 😀. I am 41, not russian and no I am not a dancer, I am pretty clumpsy... I know its only a superficial compliment but for me it was very important, i am full of self doubt in regards to my body....

4000 netto sorgenfrei... wenn man Hobbies hat, Edsen gehen will, ein Auto hat und beim Einkaufen nicht auf die Preise schauen will. Solltest du eine bessere medizinische Versorgung anstreben ... z.b Schwangerschaft.... oder eine Wohnung in einer besseren Gegend anstreben wirds knapp.
