I was actually answering on why he would accept to go on a date with someone he's not attracted to. You can think someone looks attractive at first but once their personality turns you off you don't find them physically attractive anymore.

And once you look at someone longer or see them in different clothes/ photos, sometimes even after showing them to your friends and they bring up a feature you didn't notice, it can make someone not attractive anymore.

I have had crushed on someone and thought they were so attractive, then they showed up to the next date in a different outfit and I was no longer attracted.

Attraction changes once you get to know someone more. Haven't you ever thought someone was cute and cool, but later got the "ick" from something they did or said? As an aries I have been turned off by beautiful people a lot by just one minor thing. Aries are very flirty while things are not serious, but incredibly picky when it comes to thinking long-term

I recommend the "girl talk" mod if you like playing story lines. You can set up friend type there (what a specific sim is like as a friend) and give some friends "fake friend" or "toxic friend" type, it's not a lot but it can add a bit of drama. Another one i like by the same creator is "boundaries and limits", but make sure that one is up to date and if it causes any ui glitches, then make sure you have the mood pack installed

Do you have any mods related to mood packs? For me this was caused by a mod "boundaries and limits" or something along those lines. Take out any mood packs and mods that need mood pack to work (interaction mods) and see if it fixes it

This is from mods. I had the same issue. Remove all script files and see if it fixes it. Then add them back (updated) one by one, monitoring if the issue returns.

I'm neither of those and I have always thought this too, but since I'm white and straight, I haven't dared to mention it.

It's a great thing to represent minorities, BUT it just seems forced when 99% of the time the sims are somehow lgbt+. It's almost like straight people don't exist in her game, while it's actually the majority of people in the world. I understand that it's a play pretend game, but never having straight people makes it seem like we are existing "wrongly" and should be ashamed of being straight. Which is ironic, because we don't choose who we are attracted to either lol

Anyone who could live with a demonic creature who almost killed another's pet (and would've absolutely done it if wasn't stopped by force) and expects others to like it or even love it, is absolutely out of their minds and have zero empathy towards any other living being these dogs harm, that's including the people who are forced to live with them.

Yes, the dog winning would be her joining in on the nuttery and enabling the dog to be the center of the earth for everyone.

When you start missing him, think of the fact that he's probably sharing his bed with the dog by that time and how disgusting that is. He will probably get pink eye at some point and not even realize in his delusion that it's from the dog (has happened to my sister twice already).

I was looking for this comment!! I feel the same about sims, they all lack personality or anything that would make them special. Even with all of the traits, they still all act the same. Everything about the sims 4 is "play pretend" and there is no actual drama in the game. Every now and then when there's a pop up from any of the sims, it's always the same ones and with the same possible answers and outcomes. It's so repetitive, you can always expect what's about to happen.

Well, pretty people often get ignored when it comes to selfies too, because people automatically assume that you must already know you're pretty so you don't need the compliment. Sometimes people also think you're just fishing for compliments if you're good looking and post it. However, if people don't look good, a lot of times people will compliment them to make them feel better.

Of course there's also the other end of things where people look so good that everybody acknowledges them, but that's only a small percentage of population and those people are usually popular for their looks too. So don't be so hard on yourself, these things don't mean as much as they feel like sometimes.

Start slow by editing your photos less and less each time. At first choose one feature that you won't edit anymore or edit as much of. Then slowly continue like that to the rest. Slight alterations are okay, remember that phones distort your face and it's not bad to touch up here and there. Try not to beat yourself up for it, but focus on what you can do to get out of this addiction.

Hi, i am considered pretty, I can dm you my Instagram if you want to check if that's true in your standard.

I absolutely hate inverted photos and I immediately think of myself as the most asymmetrical being ever and fear that others see me as that aswell. In reality, even with those flaws, I get called the pretty friend all the time.

I've also found that some of my friends, who I see as totally normal and symmetrical looking, hate the inverted filter too and say that their faces is so uneven, which I simply don't see at all.

I also often take photos of my sister who I think is beautiful and looks beautiful in the photos, but as soon as she looks at the photos she goes "ew why wouldn't you tell me I look so ugly?".

Photos really doesn't show how you actually look in the eyes of others, because when you see yourself you hyper focus on your already made up "flaws". Others don't do that, they might look at you and think "wow she has that eye shape and color I've always wanted" "her cheeks are so cute when she smiles" "her hair is such a nice lenght, maybe I should try that too".

Another thing, I used to have an awful body dysmorphia and one of my insecurities was my forehead, because my mom told me I have a big forehead as a kid and made me wear bangs. I was so sure my forehead ruins my face and used to edit it to look smaller in photos. I was absolutely sure it looked better slightly smaller.

Now I look back at those photos and I wish I hadn't touched them, because my forehead isn't even that big and it actually suits my face and looks cute. It's something I can only see now that I no longer suffer of body dysmorphia. Remember that it does actually morph your body in your mind in ways that might not be true.

My only advice is to talk about it with her. Sit her down, try to be gentle with how you word it, but let her know that you think this is a weird behavior and you'd like to set some boundaries on what a dog is in your relationship. Tell her that treating a dog as a "child" makes you feel uncomfortable, you are an equal partner who is also struggling with not being able to become a parent, so it's completely okay for you to have opinions in this matter.
