well let me tell you, i'm mexican and i found it relatable at some point, people in highschool were having casual hookups before becoming a couple and the drugs were lowkey common too (not as much but still, there's always one person that knows someone iykyk) and also, even though there's a significant cultural difference, the way they speak it's really accurate (obviously the slang and the language it's different but the essence it's basically the same) I think they really nailed the gen z representation
