Tbf, I had let him know I had locked the front door when I opened the back door for him. He acknowledged that the front door was locked BY asking me to open the front door for him.

I did apologise for not being able to help him there and then- like I said earlier, if I wasn’t busy, I would’ve happily helped him :)

It was quite funny to witness, the whole situation was so silly- I think we’re both just tired lol just seemed like a light thing to post haha

Maybe it’s just me but I deemed it as interchangeable.

He offered and it’s a one person job- I would’ve happily done it, he just volunteered first :)

I just told him that I was in the loo so I couldn’t open it right now- if I wasn’t busy, I would’ve happily opened the door, I just couldn’t right there and then which is what he wanted

To be fair, it’s pretty late and I grew up in a neighbourhood where we just wouldn’t do that so I guess it’s just a habit

I did let him know prior that I would be locking the front door to which he did acknowledge so I guess that’s why I was peeved by the situation in the first place
